new formula is more powder less grit
I am a huge fan of this product, always have been it helps overweight, laminatic and horses and helps with hoof growth. I kept hearing they were gonna change their formula, finally got a batch of the new formula while I am not sure what the difference is, but it is very very fine and powder which I guess is good to get it to stick to the grain but you must add the water to it or they will inhale it and have a sneezing fit. The old formula was more gritty and a little more difficult to get to stick to the grain and I know my mule was more hesitant to eat the gritty old formula. So if you get a powder batch is is pretty fresh.

For $14, works as well as HEIRO and one bucket looks to last about 4 months for one horse
40-day update moved from HEIRO to Remission: My IR Grey Arabian mare is doing well. Has maintained 900-910lbs. One scoop of Remission in morning, one cup of Enrich+ in morning and evening, grazing on current heat parched grass in Texas, exercise in evening 3 times per week for 30-45 minutes. Hooves in great shape. Still has crowning in neck but was not going away with HEIRO either. Able to use small alfalfa cube (1-in x 1-in x 0.5 in) as reward 3 to 6 every day. One $14 bucket of Remission from Tractor Supply looks like it will last 4 months for one horse.Had been using HEIRO product for about 6 months on a 15-yr old Grey Arabian mare. She was rescued six years ago so has been exposed to a high stress abusive history. She weighed about 980 lbs at the beginning. Diagnosed by equine vet from blood draws for IR. After 6 months she is down to about 900 lbs. Used a standard weight tape measure to track progress. Other factors included changing feed to Enrich+ at a cup in morning and cup in evening. Stopped all "treats". Limited pasture access. Started a daily work out schedule. At 6 months ago, there was also noted evidence of hoof issues, fatty deposits, and crowning. There are a number of factors to consider between feeding regimen, pasturing, exercise, and supplements. My last order for a 90 day supply resulted in a delivery of fancy iPhone ear buds in a small box rather than the 90 day supply of Heiro. Because of this I have to rethink the supplement supply expense and maintaining the proper diet and supplements. I have discussed the impact of Magnesium in the diet with my Equine vet and he has pointed out to me that aside from the fancy spice fillers, the predominant element is Magnesium also available in Remission at a much lower price. Also point out that there is a horse rescue operating on my ranch of which there are 5 rescued Arabians and a dozen rescued ponies a number of which exhibit IR symptoms. Along with feed restrictions, exercise, and use of a Magnesium supplement, seems that Heiro is a lot of money for a small show. I want to thank the suppliers for totally screwing up my order forcing me to reevaluate cost-benefit. I will be going to Remission and charging back my credit card for their lack of attention.I mean, what kind of a livestock supply operation sells ear buds??? Really???? Who would pay $134 for ear buds???? I don't even have an iPhone.

Miracle for foundering ponies
Amazing cure for laminitis damaged feet. My Shetland mare of 16 yrs began getting spring grass founder more and more the last few years. Seemed she might never recover. Was heartbreaking to watch her. Inspite of a putting green close cropped pasture she'd manage to get the grass outside the fence. Letting her out only at night or stall rest didn't contain the problem. Results painful hobbling and little left of her frogs. After I read of another customer who got wonderful results and highly praised this med for helping her with a chronic laminitic pony too I'm ever so thankful for that review. Remission is supposed to help their metabolism. Help break down the sugar. So they can be on a pasture. We've just finished our first 4lb container. Cresty neck and pot belly gone too.Love the product for giving my sweet pony her joy back. She trots now. A very kind price. Wish container was easy to open, though don't laugh I know it's me. I can't figure it out so I whack it with the claw end of a hammer til I break the red seal. Wish it was pelleted. Even though my mare and her little mare who's 7 should NOT have senior feed hand feeding just powder was not good. So I mix 1.5 enclosed blue ounce scoops in 2 heaping TBSPs of senior with a palm full of water and mix. They eat it right up out of my hand. A slurry only makes them choke so pellets someday if you can keep the price, please AniMed. Otherwise it's a miracle product. I'll report back after we get through the spring summer to see how her feet hold. I will still only let out at night then. Please try it. Remission will give your ponies or horses their joy back.

Results in a week
This was the first year my horses foundered and to say the least, I was panicking. My mare was the worst and looked like she was in pain. She didn't want to walk or turn, not even on her own. The vet of course said no more grass, but in twelve acre green pasture, and with three weeks before I could finish building a dry lot enclosure, I had to do something. Bute was only mildly effective and temporary. It usually wore off within 6 hours and the sore feet came back. By adding the option of hay and adding this product to their diet, I noticed improvement within the week. My little mare is walking and even trotting (sound) again. My gelding is still sore but he is walking well now and coming in for his food which is better than before. They love to eat this so it must taste good ( unlike the Bute that they won't touch voluntarily, so we had to quit.) I put my third horse on it as preventive, since they are all overweight and always on pasture. Recently he seems to have unusually high energy levels and is trotting and cantering about for fun, so I'm not really sure if this has anything to do with that. I think this may be a good product and I will keep using it for awhile. I certainly would not recommend using this instead of calling the vet . Also additional supportive care is needed. Diet changes, cooling the legs and hooves, softer footing, etc. I would however, recommend this supplement in addition to medical attention and care.

Keeps our minis healthy
We had one mini horse founder. We have been using this since and had no issues. Minimal investment for maximum results. Way cheaper than a vet bill.
