Durable battery but old manufacture date
The batteries seem to have close to 2000mah as advertised however, I got an old batch. I got the ones that were made in Nov 2018 as per the date stamped on the battery. This is not good that such an old stock was delivered.I didn't initiate return as they nearly charge to the advertised capacity in some of the test runs I did. So, age does not seem to have affected them.

Arrived with full charge, Works fine
The AA cells came fully charged. I am recharging them every other day. It works fine. I may know after a few months of use of the long life of these cells. The black and green wrapper around the cells seems to be flimsy and does not look so good as my other AAA and AA amazon basics I bought earlier. Not sure it this reflects the quality and performance of the batteries. Anyway, feel happy for now

Don't sleep on these! its "made in japan" an most likely rebranded eneloops with a cheaper price tag
I dont know why some reviews are so bad, amazon have moved to making its newer battries in china which don't compare well with the older japanese ones, which are these. They're imported in 12/2018 and amazon india might have stocked it much more then the demand which is why you still get these good battries in amazon india. Bought 4 aa, using three of them in mi night light and one with a electric toothbrush, charged them before using first since they were kept on shelf for long, none of them had drained yet which is expected considering the capacity, out of the box these took 900mah of charge which means they were half charged, which is impressive for battries that have been on shelf for more than a year, remember, pre charged doesn't mean they are fully charged out of the factory, they are always partially charged. So use a good slow charger, charge the battries before first use, and you're good to go. Dont blame the battries if you use cheap fast chargers or older paired ones which dont charge battries evenly, panasonic advanced charger is what i use, not the bq-c55 one with fast charging, the slower one with individual battries charging support is what i use and recommend for home users. If you use cameras and stuff, go with the bq-c55 as its fast but also safe, unlike the cheap ones which charge single cells at a whooping 1800mah, its dangerous and definately harmful for the longivity of ni-mh/cd battries. That's all folks. Once this made in japan stock ends then expect degraded quality. Also remember, there is only one ni-mh battery plant in japan owned and operated by fujitsu which manufactures the renowned eneloop batteries, these are the same batteries but a few hundred rupees cheaper.

Paper wraps don't last long
The paper covering gets damaged easily making the battery unusable. It is fantastic while it lasts

Overall just okay, see update review
Amazon says these batteries gonna keep the charge 70% even after a year ! The batteries I received were manufactured in 04-2018. I received them on 3rd week Dec-2018. They are 8 months old battery. Not bad. When I put all of them into Panasonic BQ-CC 55 (It's best aa/aaa battery charger) for charging, it indicating red led light and after 15-20 seconds the light tunrs yellow. That means they were only around 20% charged. They loose 80% charge in 8 months !Will update my review soon about how they perform. It's overall good batteries. Original Branded Manufacturers never charge the batteries fully, that's why after opening the box the new batteries won't have that much juice inside them. After few charge and use cycles the batteries will get their best capacity. These amazon ones are very good and cost effective too. Yes they are holding charge for pretty long time. After a full charge it's 2 weeks going on and i haven't charge them yet, using on my led torch (XML - T6).Never-ever use any old fashioned dumb charger to charge any rechargeable battery. Always use a smart charger that can charge each battery individually and can cut charge automatically when the battery is full.I have seen many bad reviews for many good branded batteries. I am sure that 99% of the reviewers didn't use a smart charger, and they probably charged the batteries for 8-10 hours out of the pack, hence overcharging and damaging the batteries, they might have gave bad reviews. Because in old chargers you never gonna know when the battery is full and how much charge is left before charging & it will never cut the charge automatically when the battery is full.

Great but not for heavy duty stuff
Great batteries. Nice to use in things like cameras and remotes. But not good for heavy duty things like battery operated nerf guns. Wouldn't recommend it for RC cars too. The main reason is power output. It's 1.2 volts only. Not for toys. But it's great for remote controllersand wireless mouse. And you can use it in some old style cameras which use AA's. But you might have to change some settings in the camera. But don't solder on the batteries directly if you are using these for some projects. Use a holder. And you have to buy a charger too. Remember that. I would recommend a Panasonic or envie smart charger. Overall a great product. Definitely recommend this if you are looking for budget rechargables. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
