I sent these back-- they were too wide/big for me and looked different from what I was hoping for.

Definitely size down. I wear a 10, but that was way too big. They also don't fit as tight as another brand I had years ago, but I wouldn't say they're wide. They are comfortable and no cork on the sole to crack.
