Dual purpose so Best value anywhere
I bought this because I had a lot of Tomatoes to breathe for a Catering job. The bonus was that it also works on Strawberries and a Strawberry HULLER would cost between £5 and £7. Roll on Jam making season!

It worked fine in the beginning and one day just snapped in two. I would have gone with a all stainless steel one. Was serving the purpose initially so It's OK to me.

I love to core my fruits with this tool. A must have for prepping foods.
This tool will core almost any fruit or vegetable. It’s very sharp and very sturdy. You need to be cautious when cleaning because it has very sharp points. It hasn’t rusted out and it looks neat. It’s perfect when prepping foods. I don’t need to apply much pressure and it gets the stems out easily. I use it regularly on my tomatoes and strawberries. It’s also small and easy to store, but if you have big hands it will work well for you, too.

Ots ok
My personal preference is regarding the spikey head. Takes too much from small strawberries but doesnt get the whole hull out from the big ones. Works well enough i guess but i will prob be looking to try a diff type

Just When Tomatoes Thought it Was Safe in the Kitchen . . .
I've recently initiated a series of purchases to enhance the quality of my home's kitchen and this little gadget is one of those great, bang-for-the-buck purchases. Most people probably don't think about it, but even with the sharpest of knives (I have a really good set of high-carbon stainless steel), coring a tomato is a bit of an annoyance. However, with this little tomato shark, one deft flick of the wrist is all that is required.I got this as part of Amazon's ingenious add-ons program. Like other devices, Amazon offers this at a ridiculously reasonable price--provided it is attached to another order.Sounds fair to me.

Get one!!!!
I can't believe I used to process tomatoes without this little gadget. I'm not one for thinking that anyone needs a specific kitchen gadget for every single little task. But, since I used this for the first time, I would never peel and core tomatoes without one again! It takes up no more space that a spoon in your drawer, and saves tons of time compared to doing it with a knife.
