This is a very good well made gate easy to build and very strong comes with everything you need and for extra safety you can screw to wall it has a lock on the top and bottom on this occasion we bought this because we didn’t want are dog to be free at night and jumping on are bed or to put her in a cage so now we have the gate in are en suite with a very large bed and she is more than happy would definitely recommend

The stair gate works really well although can prove a little fiddly for one person to put together alone due to needing to try and tighten both ends simultaneously so it doesn’t fall.Overall the product provides a nice sturdy barrier and so far appears to give peace of mind and safety to my daughter.Really easy to open and the built in safety catch means that as my daughter gets older she still won’t be able to open without assistance

I needed to buy two gates to contain my dog after her operation- the fitting on the stairs was never going to be easy because of the skirtings and posts but as this is a temporary fix then for the price they work extremely well . Other gate fitted in the doorway perfectly. Easy to put up .

This is Ok but isn't a sturdy gate system. If you are using for a dog gate this is not suitable for a medium to large dog if they are likely to stand up on it. The extensions are not very sturdy and if your opening is too small for the 2nd extension piece then you end up having the fixing bolts quite long which makes it less rigid as well. Its not really very adjustable to an opening width. Guess given the price its to be expected

All the 5 star reviews are from people who, luckily for them, have their gates opening the correct way. Should any of them in the future require their gate to be flipped then they're in for some disappointment. It's quite astonishing that the manufacturer has designed it so the bottom catch is flippable but then decided to make the most main top latch so you can not do so. I've bought four of these things, three are luckily the correct way for me but I've had to modify one. Truly ridiculous design! I will say the photo in the reviews from someone who has it laying on their floor and saying it doesn't line up should probably look at the 75 giant stickers that say it's not a fault and it will line up in the door frame. Thanks to people like them the rest of us are spending an hour peeling the label off while wondering who would be so stupid to require that warning label!

I bought it to keep the cats out of certain rooms dose the trick and was a good price very stable and husband found it easy to assemble
