Tool Guy Republic Timing Gear Clamp Set - Holds Valve Timing - Single, dual or quad overhead cam

I read a lot of reviews saying that its not durable and falls off a lot. If you go into it knowing that it is only plastic it will serve you well. Don't overtighten the locking bolts is the biggest suggestion. It doesn't take much torque to make them hold the way they're supposed to. I've used this several times on various cars without issue. Take your time to get it on there and lined up and it works great every time.

The tool worked like I expected it to. Took a bit of fiddling around, but after I got it where I wanted it locked the timing gears down solid.

its plastic and a soft plastic at that and the gears can easily break it if you are not careful but still gets the job done if you are careful

Used on a Jeep Liberty (cherokee) 2005 worked ok, I would try and get something more substantial if I was to do it again but this was about a 1/4 the price of the official one. Had to improvise to get it to hold the cams while I torqued it.

They worked. I did add a little extra blocking to support it. I was working with a transverse V6 with DOCs. Worked fine.
