Good value, decent price, quality, & instructions.

Kept my boyfriend pretty busy! Easy to build.

I got this because 1)it’s cute and inexpensive 2)our living room is nautically themed 3)our late dog’s name was Ellie. I’ve been a fan of Lego my whole life, but their prices have gotten ridiculous, especially considering the growing number of quality kits coming from other manufacturers.This fishing boat was kind of a challenge to build. It has delicate hinged structures that are tricky to get assembled, dry transfer decals (which I prefer to stickers), and even some rigging. I tweaked a few things, such as the navigation lights, utilizing spare Lego elements just to add some more detail. I was not familiar with this brand’s mini figures. They’re kind of difficult to assemble, and it took me longer than I care to admit that you have to take their arms off to get their vests on. Once they’re together, it’s highly unlikely that they’ll come back apart. There also isn’t really any place for them. I put one in the pilot house, and the other two are “having coffee” on the only part of the deck with exposed studs.Overall, this is a nice model (I wouldn’t consider this a toy) in a color not often seen.

My son saw this and wanted to get it. It arrived quickly but he got frustrated with the 1st bag and got upset over not being able to put it together. So I tried to assemble it and found that the pieces did not line up, did not go together easily and every time I tried to add the next step - the whole thing came apart in my hands. This is not a quality product, it is a piece of garbage - save your time and effort and buy anything else.

Shame on me ordering an item months early for my son’s birthday in Nov. opened it up today pieces are missing. Too late to return. Out $35.Updated post as of 11/23/23. The company saw my post reached out to me and refunded the cost of the product. I didn’t ask for a refund they offered. As a fan of puzzles, I decided to give this knock-off Lego set a try, despite my low expectations. The design seemed cute and the idea intriguing. However, my experience with this set was rather disappointing.The instructions were a bit difficult to follow, mainly because the pieces didn't fit together as smoothly as I had hoped. There were noticeable gaps between the pieces, which made me doubt whether I was assembling it correctly. This lack of precision made the assembly process frustrating and less enjoyable.Unfortunately, I never completed this project. The overall quality of the set felt subpar, with the final product feeling janky and not very swanky. While the design was appealing, the execution left much to be desired.
