A right good read.
Brought back a lot of happy memories of TT visits and gave me insights into the thinking of many of my heroes.Recommended for any fan of the races and those who are not yet fans could become interested.

Ragged edge
Brilliant book about TT etc and riders. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is great.

Visceral reading
I have read all of Stuart Barker's books, and have always enjoyed his attention to detail, and prosaic writing. This is, imho, his best yet.Read it in a day, then returned to page one and started again.Any TT fan, or indeed motorsport fan, needs this on their shelf.

A good read.
The author knows his subject well and his knowledge of the riders and the TT make this a really interesting book

A must read
Just finished this book. What an awesome, honest, emotional, funny and altogether mind blowing insight about the TT and the riders, from the mouths of some of the crazies that take part

Disappointed
What a shame the author chose to give us a weak imitation of Rick Broadbent’s ‘That near death thing’. Shamefully he even lifts quotes from Mr Broadbents book.
