I have bought Rockwood several times. It is the best Lump charcoal on the market. Looked at other cheaper made in China or Mexico there is no comparison.

First, let me start off by saying this adds the best taste to whatever you're cooking, 5 stars. Second it does burn much better than it's competitors. It makes a good amount of heat, and burns longer than other brands I've used. I have been trying new companies and have to say I sure found a great one here. Many times I've had char wood that would pop and shoot a bunch of sparks everywhere when moved. Not this time, this is much easier to handle. It's perfect for my Charcoal Chimney. Also unlike others, the second time I cooked I made a lot of food and had to put on a little more and it didn't billow smoke. Again the taste is Awesome. I would give it 5 stars if it had made it here in a little better shape. I know that it has to make it over 1,400 miles to get to me, so I can't blame them. But I'm giving it an honest review and had to mention it. If you live close to Missouri, or don't mind that it may arrive a little worn, This is DEFINITELY worth the money. Product gets damaged and shipping so there’s some small chunks but the smoke and the flavor from it is very good

This lump charcoal burns long, burns hot if you use the needed amount, and imparts great flavor... ill buy plenty more..

So the pieces are kind of small. However they did not plug up my Kamado Joe. The cooks turn out fine and best thing is the flavor.

I don't do a lot of product reviews unless it is an exceptional product. This Rockwood All Natural Hardwood charcoal is just that. Exceptional. I normally used something like Kingsford, but Rockwood will now be the only charcoal I use. I use a charcoal chimney because I don't like using a flammable liquid to get it going. Rockwood started faster and burned longer and more even than regular charcoal. I had no issues keeping the temperature regulated and I didn't have to add more to keep it going long enough to grill 2 steaks, 8 burgers, 8 hotdogs and 10 ears of corn. I used about half of the amount I would have had to use with Kingsford. I'm very impressed with this charcoal, and would recommend it to anyone.
