Overall I am horrified by my experience with this item. Although I was not expecting top-notch quality, I also did not expect a cheap chunk of metal and plastic that only fulfilled its role as a charging adapter < 50% of the time. I actually ran my laptop battery down to 20% without realizing it because although the adapter was plugged in, it was not rotated to exactly the correct angle and thus did not provide power for over an hour. Oddly enough the charger was still quite hot, despite not providing a charge to the unit.(the lighter in the photo is for scale)=Cons=1) Cable is comically short (seriously, you need an extension cable 90% of the time)2) Adapter is prone to problematic overheating and cannot be touched after 1 hour of just being plugged in3) Special positioning of the plug is required to make contact and actually charge the unit=Pros=1) The adapter did not melt...somehow2) Extremely short cable means less bulk in laptop carry bag!

Remember 10 years ago when you bought an off-brand phone charger, and it would make your Android touchscreens non-responsive? Well, that's what this does to my ASUS laptop (UX303 model). Having my laptop plugged in makes the cursor all jumpy and makes the touchscreen response very erratic. Also, not totally confident in the safety of this product. The plug doesn't fit flush in the charging port like the original adapter did. The first time I plugged it into an outlet, I saw some sparks. Hasn't happened again since, but I'm definitely not going to leave this plugged into my laptop unsupervised.

Not like photo. Product does not include a charging indicator light like the original and as seen in the photo. More importantly, it does not include the two isolated ground rings on the outside of the plug (this one is my fault, as the photo only shows a single ring on the outside of the plug). Without the isolated ground rings, the track pad jitters to the point of being unusable.I had to buy another power supply for for money that was the original ASUS design. Still - when I use a mouse instead of the trackpad, this is usable, so I am keeping it as a backup.

I don't know why it is so hard to look up the correct fit for a laptop charger. I thought I did my research, and this did charge my ASUS laptop, but it was a sub-par fit. Still did the job though, and used it for a month or two until the prongs of the plug broke off. This probably could have been avoided if I tucked them in more regularly, they do fold into the base. I was not used to doing so because the original charger did not have that option. If purchasing, be sure to fold them in when not in use.

I bought this a few months ago and carry it back in forth with my work laptop. About a month ago it started acting out were it would only charge from specific power outlets. The issue occurred both at home and in 2 different offices. Then yesterday as I was plugging it, one of the little tooth connectors just broke off and now it is completely useless. SO I guess I got what I paid for?> Would not recommend this product AT ALL!

Worked for 6 weeks, then died. It worked just long enough that I can't return it. It's cheap, but don't waste your money.

This unit works as well or better than the stock unit. I have on that I keep in my office, one in my go bag, and the oem one at home. I really like the folding power prongs. No issues with either of the units, one is about 3 months old, this one I just got a week ago. Holding up good!

The charger works great with my ASUS Zenbook and the length of the wire is perfect. I have been using it for two weeks now and no complain so far. I recommend!
