Q: Are you able to angle the stands to place in a corner?

No. The stand is fixed and cannot be angled. I saw a similar stand on here that could be angled because the side pieces lapped over the center instead of being screwed on like this one.

Q: Can you take the center piece off and just use the two end pieces for 24 in monitors?

I don't remember where the pegs are attached on the center piece..

Q: How large is the open section (Under, where drawers are). Would a 20-inch long keyboard fit in it?

It's 14.5 inches wide, so no your keyboard would not fit.
