Cabanaz Magnetic Kitchen Timer, Iron Grey

When I tested this, by winding it to maximum then back to a few minutes, when it hit zero it just gave a quiet buzzing sound. Then I realised there was something rattling inside, which was obviously part of the ringer mechanism as it would give a dinging sound if shaken (ie a bell existed inside). I returned it the next day.

Pity, looks great but didn't work at all. Set it for 10 minutes, but rang after 20seconds.

We took our time to find a good looking timer but at a good price, this is it. Good magnet. Good design. Bell loud enough.

Only used occasionally but packed up after 2 years. The dial slips round 5 or 10 minutes by itself. It may have been doing this for quite a long time without us noticing.
