i got these september of 2014 for my ps4 and i have to say i really surprised how long they have lasted.when i first got the headset out the box i cant say i was impressed, it looked tight, mic looked flimsy and so onsound quality was good and everyone online could hear me perfectly fine (it also cut out most if not all background noise)it plugged right into the controller (for ps4) and its good to use, with the mute button always easy to grab/find and volume control too.BUT it is tight around your head and sometimes it begins to hurt if you have them on for over a hour or so.over all though i only got them thinking they would stop working after 4-6 months but i still have them a year later and they still work fine even though i haven't treated them with the up most care.as for wearing them for a long time, just take a 10 minute break from games and then go back if you want tooprosmic is good and cuts off most if not all background noisesound quality is desenteasy to use and mute yourself or control volumeconscan hurt after a hour or so.

I purchased this headset after finding that the mic included with the PS4 was insufficient. I will start off by saying this; I would describe myself as a casual gamer who plays a few hours every night, but doesn't play competitively. This is the first stero headset I have had, and I am impressed.For the casual to semi-serious gamer you couldn't get a better headset. The quality of the mic is crystal clear. It extends well, and keeps a good distance from your mouth. It seems to have good noise cancelling for things like breathing and slight background noise. There is also an easy button which you can slide to mute the mic which is excellent. I have had no trouble with the mic.As for the sound, it is also excellent. I can hear everything perfectly, from surrounding music, to gun shots in the distance to footsteps in Call of Duty. The quality of sound cannot be faulted for the price you pay. There is also an option on the headset to adjust the volume which is useful.I find the headset extremely comfortable to wear. The pads are small, but they fit around my ears fine. After long periods of gaming, 4 plus hours, a short break is needed or the headset will start to hurt the ears. However, in general terms it is very comfortable, very lightweight and well built.Setup is non existant; plug it into the controller and your ready to go.All in all, it's an excellent headset. It obviously won't be as good as more expensive models which might have better surround sound, but it performs very well.Don't be deceived by the price of this model; it is an excellent headset.

The headset does what it says and it does it well! I wasn't expecting much from the price of the headset however it gives you good in game audio and can be used effectively for both chat and game sound. The cups fit nicely on the ears not causing too much stress after long play times and is very comfortable. The flexi shaft wouldn't be my preference however it has its pros and cons, making it more sturdy and when packing into a bag! The plastic feel slightly cheap however in a world in "You get what you play for" It does the job and to be honest when you are playing an intense game of Call of Duty or FIFA 14, you quite simply couldn't careless about the "feel of the plastic" Overall this headset is great for the price, I am not a sound expert although I still believe the sound is excellent and I defiantly recommend this headset to the most amateur to the most avid gamer, yet may not be the best buy for someone who is quick on the go and a bit rough and ready! Had these since the PS4 first released and never had a single problem with them. They're a great price and incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is connect them to your controller and you're good to go. It's worth going into your PS4 settings to play around with the audio settings, but that's pretty normal for a new headset. You can choose to have only the party chat audio come through (in which case, just be aware that the sound only comes through the left side if you choose this option), or you can have all of the audio (game and chat) come through both sides, which sounds amazing. Everything is always crystal clear, and they're great for ignoring the outside world if you want to get really immersed in your gaming experience. Also, be aware of how you adjust them on your head because after a while they can hurt the tops of your ears if not placed comfortably. For this reason, and the party chat audio only coming through one side, I give these 4/5 stars.

As you get what you pay for when it comes to technology, it would be fair to assume that this headset is useless as it doesn't cost a fortune. But you'd be wrong.Now it isn't going to make you go wow! As there are definitely better and more expensive options available to you, but this headset for a start features a movable microphone which many headsets in this price range simply don't do. The sound quality isn't market leading but it is certainly an big improvement on using standard ear buds.Durability wise they are like anything else in this price range, look after them and they'll look after you, they do lack in ruggedness and durability, although if you treat them right they'll last you just fine. The headset is adjustable as well, however the sliders are plastic so please take it easy when moving them to fit.Overall I'm very happy with these.
