Lightweight. Small packing. easy to stake down. Didn’t move even on a windy day. Sand blew right of it. Already suggested it to someone who asked about it on the beach!!

Worked great at the beach, way better than a sheet or just a towel. My husband and mother both complemented on how nice it was. Plenty big for several adults to sit on and folds up very compactly.

It's huge, but folds down to a tiny lightweight package. It would make a great tent underlayment for a backpacking trip and also works as a beach blanket. The material is a lightweight nylon material like you'd find in a parachute, kite or tent which is awesome because it's super lightweight and wipes clean. It's a solid material so it's not going to let bugs or sand through (bonus). It sand doesn't stick to it too much but it also doesn't let sand through like a mesh style beach mat. If you get wet sand on it, it will stick. Not unbearably but something to be aware of. Dry sand mostly shakes right off. The mat has some binding around the edge that makes it look less like a blue tarp...gives it a nice finished look, but can trap some additional sand

I didn't get this for the beach. I got it to put under the sheets on the bed when I go on vacation because we live with cats who sometimes make political statements on the bed when we're away more than a few days.Yes, "political statements" is a euphemism for various types of bodily fluids that I don't want to have to clean up when I get home. Or at least, I don't want to clean up the mattress.So I'm not 100% sure this is great for the beach. That said, it's certainly sand proof and it comes with plastic spikes to hold the corners down.This is large enough to cover a king sized bed. The bag is just barely big enough to repack it. In fact, I think I'll just fold it next time I take it out of the bag. The bag is attached so you don't lose it though, which I think is a great idea. This feels like thin tent material and is definitely water resistant, but if you touch it, just like a tent in the rain, the water will come through where you touched it. I tried this out, and I'm not sure how that will work when we put it under the comforter next time we go on vacation.This was $16 when I got it, which is on the lower end for a large beach "blanket", but again, it's not waterproof. I think it's fine for a beach if you take care to not rip it. But I might have to keep looking for something to protect the bed from cats.

This beach blanket is not bad but it was a bit smaller than I thought it would be. Four adults can sit pretty comfortably but not with spreading out. The pattern is cute, the stakes are super nice and hold it down even on a very windy day. It's basically a tarp texture wise. Resists sand and water pretty well.

This beach blanket is a great piece of kit for outdoor activities. The fabric is a strong and seemingly durable type. The sand does not collect on it and stick. Whatever sand or soil does get on it can be easily brushed away. Pai this with your favorit sun shelter and you have a winning combination.If you are resourceful, this can be used as an emergency sun shade as well.

This is a perfect solution to camping/beach trips!Its fairly thin, but a strong ripstop material.Its easy to clean with a damp towel so it's ideal for picnics or eating over.Also works well as a table cloth in a pinch.Pretty hard to get back into this tiny bag however. It came rolled up and packed neatly.

It's a large floor blanket perfect for using when your camping or at the beach or picnic. It's large enough to comfortably sit atleast 4 people and worked great at the beach to keep our food and drinks sand free. Nice material, it's like a tarp but not so plastic and it's very tear resistant. Easy to fold up and comes with a carry bag which is really small and easy to bring along anywhere.
