I needed some sealant for some peel and stick tile that I used above my shower surround. I used this to seal the edges that weren’t quite perfect and then the whole bottom edge.The glitter is cute and it set this product apart from normal caulk.

i am a grown man in good health with a relatively strong grip. But it took entirely too much effort to squeeze this out of its container with a caulking gun. And it was impossible to control how it came out. This sealent came out in globs and clumped up immedaitely making the result uneven and ragged looking. No neat lines and it certainly doesn't look professional. To top it off, it ruined my paint job. I will have to repaint. This entire episode was a waste of my time and money. Pass on this, it's not worth it.

I absolutely love this glitter caulk. It's something different if you want to get creative with a home project. I used it on a small build project and it looked really cool. It's not the most cost-effective caulk. But it's supposed to be for fun, so make sure you really like it before committing to it.

A subtle but very cool way to add something unique to any place you are putting down caulk. We recently put in a brand new vanity and countertop in one of our bathrooms, but hadn't caulked the seams of the marble top yet. Clear was okay, white didn't work as the whites were different, and other colors like beige or tan were flat out ugly. Along comes this glittery caulk and problem solved. The marbling in the white top is very silvery grey, so the silvery glitter in clear caulk is downright perfect. It's no different from regular caulk except for the addition of the glitter. Prep is the same, so is laying it down and clean up. Once fully dry, there's a hint of sparkle that catches the eye and makes people do a double take. Every person who's seen this caulk (some have been in the bathroom several times and never noticed - it really is subtle unless exposed to bright cool-toned light or bright sunlight) have complimented the look and asked us to send them the link.Because this is very much a speciality product, the price is a good three times what you'd pay for a tube of plain caulk. Then again, you aren't going to be using this for everything you might use caulking for, especially in high use area such as around a kitchen sink. That area is subjected to too much use and scrubbing and would wear away this caulk just as fast as plain caulk is worn away. Now along the edges of the countertop backsplash in your kitchen where it meets the wall and main countertop? Sure, as those areas aren't as abused and caulk holds up much better. I also wouldn't use in a bathtub due to the potential for mold and exposure to various cleaning chemicals and rough scrub brushes. For kitchen counter and vanity top backsplashes or around a mirror, bring on the glitter!!

♥ I am in love ♥ This sealant is so fun and whimsical. I mean, whose life wouldn't be improved with a bit more glitter?The sealant arrived intact in a thick bag (in case of oopsies) and comes with the tube and a screw-on nozzle pre-cut for a tiny bead. All you have to do it cut open the tube. before screwing on the nozzle.The sealant itself has a normal sealant smell - like heavy duty glue. It's not terribly strong but you definitely notice it when you first dispense it. After a while the smell goes away once it starts to harden.The consistency is sticky and thick. I did have to apply quite a bit of force on my caulking gun handle to dispense but the sealant flowed nicely through the tip.I really wish I had done the tape trip because my caulking skillz are amateur - look it up because it helps SO MUCH with cleanup after. And speaking of clean up, this product was veeeery sticky and difficult to remove/clean up from the surfaces of my table top so don't be a Messy-Bessy. At least the curing time takes a while so you have a lot of time to refine your edges.Time will tell how well this holds up but for now I am a happy camper.

I just received this caulking yesterday and won't be using it until some reno work is completed in my kitchen, so I am not sure how I can review it honestly, other than to say, so far so good. It arrived in a tube that looks/feels like any other caulking tube I have ever seen/handled and fits into our gun just fine. Based on what I have seen/read about it I am expecting the only thing to be notably different about it is its glittery appearance. I want to use it to caulk around my sink and along the edge of where my counter top meets my backsplash. The counter has a black mica finish- solid black, but with a somewhat pearlescent sheen- and I am hoping this caulking will complement it nicely. Until I actually use it I have nothing more to say, but if (after I do use it) my opinion of it changes then I will edit my review as necessary. For now, I have no complaints.
