The strap sits on the right shoulder and the bag sits on the left side of the body

Q: Is the bag waterproof, or just splashproof ? The product title says waterproof but then its not mentioned in the product details.

You are correct. It does say that, but I did not buy the bag for that reason. I bought it because it looked a handy item to have, and so it has proved. I have not tested it by immersing it in water, or subjecting it to a heavy downpour, and, frankly, would not expect it to be waterproof, despite the claim in the title. I’d say it is probably shower resistant and no more.

Q: Is it for left and right handed people

I wear mine on the left and access it with my right hand. If worn on the other side the phone may be slightly awkward to get at but not, I think, a huge problem. This is one of the best buys I've made.
