I read dozens of reviews of inexpensive lampshades that come in pairs and arrive in a flat package. Almost everyone had gripes about the difficulty of assembly, wrinkled materials, wrong measurements, etc. This pair looked like it had the best reviews but still had plenty of negative comments. I crossed my fingers and ordered them.They are GREAT! I can't believe my luck. They arrived flat but not in the least wrinkled. The edges were very easy to clip into the hoops and the back seam met perfectly and holds well with the thin velcro strip. Best of all, they are the exact dimensions that they say they are. They fit my lamps perfectly, the color is exactly as advertised -- and I feel I got away with an incredible bargain since usually you would pay more than this for one lampshade, not two.No one paid me to say any of this and I'm not a robot. I'm just thrilled that this purchase went so well!!

I'm all for compressing packaging to reduce waste, etc., but was a bit disappointed that the shades came rolled up and I had to attach the velcro ends together. The seam is therefore raised instead of flat, but I am the only one who is going to notice.I like the trim on these shades, and they look smart with the heavy, steel lamp base.

I like the fact that the shades come flat so lessen the chance of damage in transit. I like the fabric and the warm light it exudes. When wifey got home she was very pleased with it. I’m proud of my 5 stars purchase

This were fairly easy to put together. My only complaint is right in center, of the front of the shade, is a red stitch. On a cream shade it stands out. Otherwise I love the look

The finished product was good.However, I was surprised to learn I had to assemble it! Assembly was not easy.Also, the price was pretty steep for the product.
