Should I just go in my slippers and ruin them, sit down to pull on wellington boots, find some old shoes, get soaking wet feet in flip-flops or just go barefoot? I simply needed waterproof shoes, speedy to slip on and designated to be kept by the backdoor for all eventualities. Conveniently, they arrived, courtesy of a friend in the medical business. A pair of boring white theatre clogs - all we needed to do was funk them up a bit!
