I originally planned to screw this to the wall as a “new outlet” in my rental space, but since it is very flat, it works well sitting on a table or windowsill. But I know I will keep this for as long as possible and having the option in the future to screw it in a permanent spot is really great! Especially if you’re like me staying in a rental property from the 70s that lacks wall outlets in certain areas, bur don’t want to pay an electric to wire more outlets, this is a smart solution.The choice in ports is awesome, it organizes your cords, and the shape makes it sturdy. You can also turn it on and off for safety. I only wish there was one more standard port on it—but I wouldn’t be against just buying another one.

Bought an older home with very few outlets. These have helped tremendously. Easy to install! Love the USB ports too! Much easier and cheaper than paying an electrician to add outlets.

The media could not be loaded. This outlet works perfectly so far. I love the length of it and how it has added usb ports. Great value for the money.

So far this works as described. I appreciate the fact that it is able to switch power off. The cord is something that we were looking for as it is going under a rug. This cord (although it is flat) tends to twist like crazy. I ended up taping it down and it still has some girth and can be noticed almost as much as a round cord. If you’re looking for the flat cord to be the reason you buy this, you may be disappointed in it too. The plugs are nice and work well though.

I needed an outlet and plug that were flat and allow my quilt machine to not get hung up on the cord. This one works great!

With a tote box full of multiple outlet power strips in my workshop why did I need yet another I asked myself. Because nothing was working out for me for use on my nightstand, that’s why. Nightstands seem to be a special challenge for me, so much stuff ends up there and I’m always plugging something in or charging something, while other things like my Echo Dot need to be powered up all the time. I came to the conclusion that the only solution was to mount a power box somewhere within easy reach, which logically seemed to be on top. But where would I find one that has just enough, but not too many, outlets plus a place to plug in 2-3 USB devices. It turned out that this one from Trond was the one and only that I could find that did everything I wanted, no more and no less.Another user seems to be concerned about the orientation of the AC outlets. To me that's a personal preference not a make or break design issue. I happen to think it’s perfect the way it is. The design is that there are two outlets stacked next to each other and a third off to the side of the first two. The two that are stacked together are oriented so that the ground prongs are toward the outside of the box, a logical choice so that if you have two grounded transformers the cords exit to the outer edge rather than interfere with each other. The third solitary outlet is also oriented so that the cord exits to the outer edge where the cord is routed away from the three USB charging ports, which are oriented in such a way that my right angle plugs also route toward the outer edge of the box. This design assures maximum compatibility with virtually anything I may decide to plug into it.The plastic box itself is about as small as it could possibly get and with the four mounting holes makes it the ideal choice to attach to the back of a nightstand with just enough outlets for a table lamp, alarm clock and maybe a phone charger, although the USB ports built in to the box are adequate to charge most devices. Wisely they used very thin non skid feet on the bottom so the box could be mounted as flush as possible.Unlike many of the other power strips I own this one is very lightweight, and they do advise you not to try to use it with high current devices, it’s best suited for table lamps, phone chargers and similar low power things. The power cord though is fairly heavy duty and has an angled standard USA power plug at the end. There is a power switch conveniently mounted on one side and very wisely they designed it so the power switch only controls the AC outlets, not the USB power ports.With only three AC outlets this has limited uses around the house but it could not be more perfect for use in spaces where there is limited room, so beside my night table use I also plan to get another one to mount on top of my workstation desk.

This is nice and flat and doesn't take up much space. Additionally the plug going into the wall keeps a low profile so it's easy to use if there is furniture that needs to be put in front of the wall outlet.

When there isn’t an outlet right where you want it mount this where it’s needed. So convenient. This is my 5th one.

The best feature is the very thin, flat end, making it perfect for use in an outlet behind furniture.The cord is very thick making it seem safer to me. All the plugins on the bar work well, and the bar is a good solid weightI will likely buy another one.

El articulo esta perfecto en tamaño. es mini, en la foto se ve mas grande de lo que en realidad es, me gusto que tiene en la parte inferior un botón de encendido y apagado, para poder desactivarlo y que no pase la corriente, me gusto el la mini luz que trae donde te indica si esta pasando corriente al enchufe o no.Como sugerencia deberían venir dos opciones de tornillos unos mas largos y cortos así como unos taquetes por si quiere uno ponerlo en la pared y no en un mueble de madera

Over the years, we have progressively swapped all our existing power bars for TROND. Because TROND has the screw tabs that stick out. So they're very easy to screw into wall or under desk. We will continue to buy only TROND. As with all our other TROND purchases, this product has worked very well.
