Great Product
I love these Bastion Pens! I have 5 of them that being said this looks like something from a job site scrape pile then sunken treasure. So disappointed about that. There carbon fiber and titanium are amazing

Heavy pen but very cool
This is my first Bastion Pen. I have a few other high end pens from other companies, but this is my first, and I am really impressed with this pen. The color is called "Shipwreck Copper". That's a cool name. Right? The pen, however, is quite heavy and it is a little thicker in the barrel than I typically like to write with. But the pen does write nice and smooth. The bolt action lever is an easy way to open and close the pen. It comes in a nice box to protect and present the pen in. So far, I am very pleased with this pen and will look to other Bastion pens in my future.

Not lightweight but nice
This pen is similar to the "Kraken" brass forced patina pen they make. The insert that comes in the box talks about raw brass and copper pens, but I can't find any for sale on Amazon besides the forced patina ones. They describe this pen as "lightweight" but it weighs 3.1 ounces which is quite a lot for a pen. My raw brass Fischer Space Pen is 0.7 ounces for example. This is actually my first "bolt action" type pen. The bolt action feels nice and is easy to use to extend the pen tip, but retracting it is a little more difficult for me.The forced patina looks pretty nice, though I personally prefer a natural patina. I'm not sure what they used to make it, but it smells like honey.I think it's a fair price for such a solid pen and the machining is nice.

Heavy and awkward
This is the heaviest pen I have ever held or tried to use. It's a beautiful pen with the multi colors from the different types of metal and the various patinas. It writes smoothly without skipping. But I find I can't write with it for very long without my hand hurting. It has the oddest lever for extending the pen and retracting it. I've never seen a dead bolt on a pen before. It arrives nicely boxed and perfect for gift giving.

Pricey, but very cool, sturdy, and unique pen!šāš»
Let me share my thoughts on the BASTIONĀ® Luxury Bolt Action Copper Pen with Forced Patina. šļø This pen is not only stylish but also functional, making it a great addition to your everyday carry (EDC) collection. Given the hefty price tag, however, I'm hesitant to take this out of my house š.The forced patina on the copper body gives it a unique and eye-catching appearance, adding a touch of luxury to your writing experience. The bolt-action mechanism adds a fun and satisfying element to using the pen, making it enjoyable to click and retract the tip. The sturdy and durable design ensures that it's easy to carry around, whether you're heading to school or work. With its fine tip, it provides a very smooth writing experience, allowing you to jot down notes or create detailed sketches with precision. Plus, it could make a fantastic gift for someone special. It also comes with an additional red refill, which is a nice addition. So, if you're looking for a stylish and reliable pen, the BASTIONĀ® Luxury Bolt Action Copper Pen is definitely worth considering! āØšļø

Great look, smooth writing, very heavy!
This one looks amazing! That aged copper really pops. It writes very smooth and even as well. The bolt action is very smooth and secure. This will give your wrist a surprising workout. Itās substantially heavier than any other pen Iāve ever used. It will take some time to get use to. Itās a definite statement piece though.

Hefty for ball point but brilliant weight, patina and comfort
The finish on this pen is true-to-advertisement antique copper patina. It has a feel like fine grit sandpaper which makes it very comfortable in the hand while writing because it doesnāt slide around. The weight is nice, as is the girth. The cartridges are also write very smooth. I typically collect fountain but itās nice having something with bolt action for a change so ball is nice for this case. Iām quite pleased with the aesthetics and function and will likely add more from this brand to my collection for more options.

Heavy, writes well
This is heavy but well balanced. I really like the mechanism. It's a very different sort of pen that I've ever owned before. It's heavy, and I feel you could defend yourself but with it better than a lot of tactical pens! You could probably really hurt somebody with this pen because it is so heavy and sturdy. The brand is well Marked but not glaring. It writes absolutely wonderfully and keeps up with even fast flourishes. It feels excellent in the hand, so it can get cold at times if it is cold in the room. The copper is not thin, and it is very conductive of heat and cold both. It comes in a nice gift box for gifting. I love it. It's a very nice addition to my collection - very different from any luxury pen I've ever owned before.
