LINDY 70449 Lip Sync Corrector

Just the job, very easy to adjust
I use a stereo amplifier for audio with my projector, which has a very noticable delay with the picture. This device, combined with an HDMI-to-phono converter from the 'audio-only' HDMI output from my Blu-ray player, solves the problem completely. Just turn the knob until the audio is in sync witth the picture. And the device is so small that, once set, it can easily be hidden behind the equipment.

Expensive, but a useful addition to streaming setup.
We use multi-camera feeds to stream live gigs to Zoom via Wirecast, but take the sound directly from our digital desk. The sound, therefore, lags the video fractionally. This delays the sound and gets things sync'd nicely. Pricey, but well made and very compact. No noticeable loss in sound quality.

Works well in our situation
Does what it's supposed to.We have to use the full 300ms delay to achieve lipsync but it does work.Delivery was 3 days later than stated.

Good service, but 300 ms is not always enough
I bought a Samsung UE55D8005YUXXE Smart TV a few months ago. The picture is crisp and sharp. It's easy to use and looks good. However, people need to be warned against Smart TVs. Due to the excessive processing of the picture signal it goes automatically out of sync with the audio signal, which goes in a straight line without any interruptions on the way. Therefore, the picture is lagging behind the audio by, I reckon, at least half a second. The Lindy Lip Sync Corrector goes up to 300 ms. I was hoping that this would solve my problem, but I turned out to be wrong. 300 ms audio delay for a Smart TV helps somewhat, but it is not enough. Hopefully someone will start manufacturing a product to solve this problem once and for all. Had I been aware of the synchronisation problems concerning Smart TVs, then I would not have bought one. End of story.

Delayed response
Wanted a delay to use in an experiment/demo. It did this OK, but is only a stepped rather than variable delay and quite expensive for what it does

Perfect box for gig box
Ready to go straight out of the box. A must for the gig box. Comes with its own power adaptor so no searching for one at the last moment.

No complaint
Bought due to a timing difference between my q-acoustics sub and the rest of the set. Solved this problem with finesse. Output is good no ish subs bouncing. Highly recomended.

Requires external power supply which was included
Had to sync a delay between two amplifiers connected to a Sonos connect line and toslink output. This did the job perfectly with no noticeable drop in audio fidelity.
