An wonderful animated film for children 8 years + & adults too, about the horrors of the Taliban & extremism.Parvana an 11 year old girl has to find a way to feed her family after the arrest of her father by the Taliban. She makes a friend who shows her how to disguise herself as a boy in order to survive in a society were females are not allowed to leave their home without a man.It is made in a way that children can understand & girls can see that they are equal to boys & should not think otherwise.

Very disappointed that it won’t play. I believe it is because it came from a different country. Amazon should be aware or this. I tried to return it with no success.

Devastating. Life in Kabul ruled by the Talibans.

I brought it as a present for a friend and he loves it so much he’s told me he’s rewatched it several times.
