Know Your Numbers: Hands Down: Counting in Fives Paperback – 6 Aug. 2020

My 4 year old son is really into counting at the moment and this book is brilliant. The pictures are fab and it is very helpful in teaching how to count in fives.

A good book for first grade.

I had ordered this book for a conference I was presenting for. I needed the book within a certain amount of time, so when the book arrived in less than adequate condition, I didn't know if there was time to try to locate another copy. I am a children's book collector, as well as a kindergarten teacher. My books will get touched and read by many, many little hands and children in their "lifetime", so I really prefer new condition. Under normal conditions, a hardcover book will last over ten years or more.So, when I purchased this book, it was under the premise it was in near new condition. When I received the book, I was disappointed to see this book's condition was not what was advertised, and the photo of the book for sale was definitely not the same book I received. In the photo, as you can see, there are no library stickers. This book had several on the front and binding. This book had been read and handled a lot in a library, so chances are, it's life expediency will be short in my classroom.I did end up keeping the book for two reasons. First, I needed it for the conference. Second, the seller offered the book to me at half price, which as still a lot more than it was worth, but she didn't have another copy of the book in stock, so I took the offer.After this experience, I realize that buying a used book online is a risk. Unless there are no other options, I won't do that again!
