I would have liked them to have been a cooler light. However that's being picky they are a very good Xmas house light. I tried using the timer instructions but failed miserably. So I ended up using a conventional plug in timer. The only other pain is like all these lights from China the plugs are long you have a real fiddle getting them into a weatherproof electrical box and closing it. That's all the problems out of the way. The lights functioned well and it was eye candy and exitment for the grandchildren. The length was fantastic I managed to get them from the front of my house around the side around the conserve tory all in one run. Normally I have to mess around hanging three or four sets to cover the same area. The change flash function was easy to set up again making life easier for old grandad. Another plus was the lights kept the same setting even after being switched on and off with the timer. With other lights every time they switch off they revert to going manic and running through every sequence. If as I have had to do in the past you have to go around opening boxes and resetting them you can't wait for Xmas to end. To sum up great lights nice to use just one set to do the whole house making xmas preparations just a little easier.

Two years in now and it’s starting to show sings of water ingress BUT they are still working well! Sadly I have my reservations if they will work next year tho? Lovely looking lights. Sadly if you have them on a timer when they turn on they always go back to epileptic mode (which is annoying) so you then have to scroll through every time to get the one you want!

The first set I had delivered were faulty, returned for a refund. Ordered another set. These work fine. I was a bit annoyed at first as the original set were clear wires and the replacement set are white wires. However they do look nice against my white bifolds. I hope these last many christmases seeing I'm not putting them outside. I'm giving them 4 stars due to the 1st set not working and then receiving white rather than clear.

Bought these for our balcony in the French Alps as they dont take Xmas lights down until Easter so you really get the benefit of lovely lights for the whole winter and ski season.just the right length we wanted and came well packaged and well organised so that putting them up didnt leave us in a tangled mess.Look really great now they are up and have survived snow and rain so far so good.Highly recommend.

Made my house dazzle, and is a calming blue, not overpowering lily bright but powerfully bright! Enjoyed the product so much that after Christmas - as they were novelty bulbs - I took them down though instead of lofting it like the rest of the christmas stuff, there hanging and shinning in the back garden now too; multipurpose! Amazing!

I bought two sets of these for Christmas 2017 and they were in place on the outside of my house and garage for just under three weeks. They worked fine but when I took them down I noticed that quite a few of the bulbs were discoloured brown where water had got in and caused rust in the connections. I suspect that by next year they wouldn't be working so I'm sending both sets back for a refund. The other annoying thing is that they forget the last mode when first switched on so if you use a timer you can't avoid the tacky flashing look. I just wanted 'steady on' so ended up leaving them on 24 hours as the switches weren't easily accessible. They look fine (although a bit on the whiter side of warm) but I don't think they can be considered properly weatherproof. Maybe they'd be OK if mounted somewhere dry (or used in the summer).

Hi, I have used this company before and their lights are still going after five years, Hadn't used Icicle lights before so bought two sets for the front bay window and carport. They are good quality and a good choice of settings for the display. Well worth it.
