this is not 12mm. The plug cutter is in fact 12.7mm. I already had a 12.7mm cutter which made plugs too large for 12mm holes in oak so I ordered this as it was described as 12mm hoping to get a size that would fit the holes I needed to fill. Unfortunately with the seasoned oak i am working with the 12.7mm plugs just won't go into a 12mm hole even if the lead edge is chamfered off before inserting into the hole.Edited comment - the description of the item on Amazon has now been corrected to 12.7mm.

Slightly coarse cut, seems the quality has deceased since I last bought one. Still did the job though.

This 12.7 mm plug cutter cuts 1/2" plugs perfect, have cut approx 200 in hardwood with no problems good Trend product.

This item works well and is good value. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to plug screw holes up.

I had no issues with snappy plug cutter. quick to work with also good quality. I am a returning buyer of snappy productsThe price is not encuraging but I prefer to pay a little bit more and have a quality product.
