the item has a radio but it is just the ordinary FM/AM waveband it is not DAB but I did not have it for the radio I had it for the cd player but if you want DAB radio then do it properly and have a tv digital recorder that has twin tuners like I have then you can record at least two or three programmes at once hope this helps from C J Haywood Malvern on 20 June 2017

Hello, the answer to your question I am sorry to say No, but you can change the settings to stop any hissing when playing a tape, maybe try the Soft position and a bit more bass will help. they was Dolby of Radio Cassettes years ago but that would be going back to the 1980's,
