Remote easy to program!
These work great on our 18yr old Liftmaster garage door openers. Easy to program! I recommend clearing all the codes in your unit hanging in garage before you program remote. Then be sure to change the DIP Switch code numbers under the red cover. Don’t choose the number (1). Pick at least three numbers.

Easy to Program, Small Delay Sending Signal
These were easy to program. I had to program two of them both with two different codes, one for our garage door and one for our gate. It was easy to do following the provided instructions. My only negative is a small one, and that's that you have to press down the button for a little bit longer than our original remotes before it activates the signal.

Garage openers
Only one of two transmitter worked. Decide to keep both since one is operating.

Easy to setup and cheaper choice
I wish I'd gotten these before I paid $60 for the ONE from my garage door installer. They were so easy to setup and are still working. No problems with them and they have a great range (especially when I'm down the street and remember I didn't close the garage). I've purchased another set for my children who both have cars now. Again.... no issues at all. Great buy for the price!

It works well, just know how to program it.
I knew this remote SHOULD work because I already have one that the garage repair guy programmed. I have a Liftmaster from 2008. As other reviews have mentioned, there are a series of clicks. I have a reddish orange button. Here is what worked for me. Open the back of the unit on ceiling. Open the remote. Pick a button that you'd like to program--although I had better luck with the right hand side button. Push the Learn button IN the remote until the LED stays lit. Push the button on the garage door unit once. THEN, push the button you wish to program whatever number of times you're supposed to push it. In my case, it was 3 times. Pressed it three times in one second intervals and then the light on the garage door opener flash. You should also see the LED inside the garage door opener unit flashing. THEN, press the learn button again! This seemed to be key to programming it successfully. You must push the Learn button while the garage door opener unit LED is still flashing. Note, some garage door openers can require up to 17 button pushes to program, so don't give up. I found Youtube extremely helpful. I scrolled till I saw this remote being demonstrated and it broke down how many times to push. Put the cover back on the remote and you should be in business.

First Timers use the Instructions
Great update! My previous openers only had a range of 30ft max on direct sight line. I can use these to open from the road before pulling into the drive way. Will admit though it took me almost an hour to set up both openers to both doors. *Probably should've read the instructions sooner* It only took 10 minutes after I programed the first button.
