Top drawer - perfect for the money
Essentially, this is more or less a copy of the much more expensive Mondaine watches. It's German-made rather than Swiss. I don't like fussy ornate watches and this fits the bill perfectly. It's very light weight with the case being made of titanium, a lovely simple design and the leather strap is high quality and very comfortable. The most important thing about any watch is, does it keep time well? Well, yes it does! Other than moving the time forward an hour for BST, I have never had to adjust it. If I have one tiny criticism, the second hand does not match up to the minute markers, falling somewhere in between. It may be just my watch that is like this and others are fine. Not worth knocking a star off though. For the money, this is a good-looking, lightweight watch that keeps very good time. The date window is also a good size enabling the number to be seen very clearly.

Boccia beauty
The watch came promptly and at a good price. I've wanted a Mondaine watch for some time but been put off for 2 reasons. The price and reports of their lack of longevity. This watch looks as lovely, is as light as a feather and very comfortable to wear. It is easy to read and very smart. It has a positive tick one per second of the second hand which is positive as many cheaper watches have 2 ticks per second that sounds stuttery. My one gripe is the strap wasn't really long enough to be comfortable so I had to replace it with a better one and it looks and feels lovely. I'm glad I bought this and really don't want to take it off at night. I#ll re-review in 3 years to let you know about longevity!!

Very Light And Comfortable
If you have never owned a titanium watch before, then you will be amazed at how light it is. The Amazon box felt empty, and when I opened it up the actual Boccia watch box which is compact cardboard and only 160mm x 50mm x 25mm I almost thought the box was empty. The recylable cardboard minimalist packaging is very German and eco friendly but does not look like it is likely to hold a very classy product. But don't be fooled this does look very classy with a 40mm diameter flat glass face and the crisp edged titanium case which is it's natuaral dark silver, almost grey colour. It is very minimalist and clean in design. The date in the window is small but legible. The leather strap is very good quality and pliable with a matt finish and nice light grain. It has a titanium buckle to match as well. It is so light on the wrist that you barely notice it. My kitchen scales measure it at 28 grams.I understand that titanium is not very scratch resistant so we shall see how it holds up over time. Just one gripe is that the second hand is slightly off on some of the markers but hits most of them including the all important "12" so it is acceptable in that respect for the price...which I would say is very good value for such a well made piece. The movement is a standard Japanese Miyota type which is a far better bet than any cheap Swiss movement of which I have had a few that have been unreliable and poor timekeepers.Very smart and highly recommended

Pretty good but spoiled by persistent defect
3.5 for me. I like the strap and the design. Paid about 55 for it and I'd say it's priced appropriately. I'd disagree that it looks more expensive than it is. Main gripe (as per previous reviews) the second hand doesn't match the dial markers. I ordered two replacements and all three hadn't the same defect. Not a big problem but it's annoying and I don't expect to pay 50 quid for a product with such sloppy quality control. And it doesn't instill confidence about the watch's longevity. So we lose a star for that.

Don't hesitate, great watch for peanuts!
Hit the big 5-0 last week and decided to use some of my Birthday money to buy a nice, minimalistic watch.Initially looked at Mondaine watches as I love the look of them and was put off by the mixed reviews.Stumbled across the Boccia and was impressed by the price, similarity to the Mondaine style and also the favourable reviews.Great purchase - stylish, extremely light, nice presentation box. The strap just about goes round my wrist so have ordered an XL strap from an independent buyer. Amazon are missing a trick by not stocking a decent range of large straps as I have seen tons of watch reviews where large blokes complain about strap lengths.Amazon prime delivery spot on as always. I totally recommend this watch - absolute bargain.Update - 3 years on..... Watch is still going strong and is my daily watch. Battery died a few days ago but changed it myself for the princely sum of 96 pence. Now looking at a second Boccia. Good timepieces.

Poor product. Do not buy
Poor product. Do not buy. It stopped working properly after two months. It intermittently stops working and cannot be trusted. I wish to get it replaced or a refund but this appears to be impossible as the supplier does not appear on any list.

Good effort Boccia, but needs a re-think
Looks fantastic in the picture, indeed the design is sublime. But unfortunately in the flesh it was a big disappointment. The strap would bearly go round my wife's wrist let alone mine and we consider ourselves to be fairly average in build. The face diameter is also very small compared to modern pieces.Ok its £55 and yes its titanium. These are big pluses. In all honesty if Boccia did a super-sized version of this and coupled it with a black rubberised strap I'd happily pay the £££'s more.
