YesPrior to the teak mat, I had a towel mat. This needed frequent washing and never lay straight. This has slats and little feet to keep it in place and slightly off the tile floor. It always look neat and any water spots dry soon.It still looks the same after a year in a small bathroom. I do gave good ventilation in the bathroom.

What is the weight limit for this mat?

I can't tell you for sure, but it is really solid so I would say it could most likely take somewhere between 200 and 300 pounds. the edges are over 3/4" and down the middle there is a support piece. I just jumped up and down on it and it didn't flex at all. The one thing I would recommend if you buy one (which I highly recommend) is to buy a can of teak oil and once a year clean it off and re-coat it with the teak oil. It will last you years. We have two of them and really love them. Much better than standing on the base of the shower/tub.

Solid, quality, great looking.

I have owned this mat for well over a year now and am so happy I bought it. I use it daily as I step out of the shower all wet and there isn't a mark on it, and the construction is perfect. The mat looks great, and is easy to wipe off once a week with a damp towel and it looks like it did on day one. Buy it.

We love the look of this mat. It's perfect. The rubber pads prevent slipping on our tile floors. We plan to order some teak shelving, too.

Beautiful and functional

Great for in the shower. Not slippery at all. Our shower cannot hold the suction cups for normal shower mats so this worked great. I would recommend buying this product.
