Easy to set up and seems to do the job
I thoroughly researched home security camera thngies like this, looking at Which Magazine and at reviews here on Amazon. It was confusing and nothing seemed to please everyone. The main issues seemed to be the difficulty in setting it up, a delay in sending notifications and having to pay a subscription for some aspects of the service. In a way, I supposed I chose this one because I couldn't find anything particularly bad about it, although I couldn't find many reviews at all.The packaging was very Apple-like in quality and design and the camera is simple, neat and sturdy. It was very easy to set up on an iPhone 6, with absolutely no glitches, which is pretty unusual. We set up two accounts for home so that two phones would receive notifications. The picture quality is good, though a little jumpy on occasions. Notifications seem to come through quickly, if not instantly. Sound alerts are more sensitive than motion, but both trigger a notification to the phone. You can then open the app (a few seconds delay here as it boots up and connects), then you can see the room and pan and zoom, plus you can hear anything that's happening. Ours went off the first night and we could hear a rhythmic noise like a hammer, very faint. When we got home, we heard it again – fireworks! So, very sensitive. Some of the reviews said you needed the whole iSmart cube system to make this work, but it's perfectly fine as a standalone monitor camera. In fact, we have a burglar alarm, but if it went off while we were away (even when we had a monitoring call-centre), there would be nothing we could do about it as it was impossible to check if it was a false alarm or not. Now, the idea is that, if we're away, the iSmart will notify us if the alarm goes off and we'll be able to see any intruder and immediately call the police.I'll update this review as we use the camera and especially if we get any problems later on. For now, though, it seems great. The company also makes a Spot version, but this doesn't seem to be available in the UK. I believe this gives two-way audio and has other features.

STOP!!! Do NOT buy this product
Please DO NOT waste your money on this product. The hardware is ok (when it works), but unfortunately key features simply do not consistently work, eg Arm/Disarm. As an example, I spent a morning following support desk instructions for the set-up (ie. unplug the camera & router, and switch both back on again) to try & get the Arm/Disarm functionality working, only to find out on 10/06/19 from the support team that there was a server issue on 06/06/19 which prevented you from arming & disarming the device. Unless you additionally follow “iSmart Alarm” on Twitter, you’ll have no clue as to when there are technical issues impacting the product. If you can’t consistently Arm/Disarm the camera 100% of the time, then essentially you have purchased a plastic box.Additionally the accompanying iPhone app is poorly designed, with key features which do not work (e.g. the Support link), which apparently is known about, but not advertised in advance. I flagged this to the iSmart support team in May, and it’s still not working, so you are required to raise a support ticket to them. At a minimum, the support feature on the App should work! This item is advertised as pretty much an easy set-up out of the box, which unfortunately isn’t the case. I appreciate that there will always be some technical issues with any product, but I was expecting this to be a far better customer experience. My advice would be to go for an alternative option, which is more reliable, has a better app, and works straight out of the box.I’ve subsequently bought some BLINK cameras, which are fantastic. They work straight out of the box, the App is extremely easy to use, and not a single glitch so far. THIS is the product to go for. DO NOT waste your money on an iCamera Keep.

Not worth it even with a discount....
Please do not rely on this camera for your security, it's not reliable!! I bought two of these cameras to see if it was worth a further investment. Even if they were free, I wouldn't recommend them. Firstly, they tend to go offline at random times. I have a super fast fibre broadband connection with a high quality router so there's no good reason for this to happen as all my other wireless devices including those further away seem to stay online. Whilst I was away, I had a lot of problems connecting to the cameras via the phone app. Again, having tested my data connection on the phone it was more than fine so there's no good reason for this. Whilst the camera is stated to have 1080p resolution, the quality of the recording is very poor and not what you'd expect for something advertised as 1080p. Finally, the iStreamAlarm app is not supported on a tablet so you're stuck using the phone to view it on. Ask yourself why you would spend any amount of money on a security camera you can't rely on.I have now purchased and installed the Arlo Pro 2 system which in my opinion is far superior in every regard to the iStreamAlarm. Firstly, these 1080p cameras have a much better quality of recording than iStreamAlarm. It stays online and I have not had any issues with them going offline as with the iStreamAlarm. It has a phone app, tablet app and you can check your cameras online via the browser. Whichever method you use, you can view any of the cameras live or view any previous recordings stored in the cloud. The cameras are operated with rechargeable batteries that last for many weeks, months even, before requiring a recharge in my case. Finally it also has two way audio and I can speak via any selected camera! Yes these are much more expensive, but they also work as I expect them to!!! As I stated above, why spend any amount of money on security cameras unless you can rely on it? I now let kids play with the "iStreamAlarm" as "toys" for a bit of fun rather than using them for my home security.
