I've had mine for 3/4 of a year now. I really like this lamp because of the ability to change the color and intensity of the light. It has some issues with staying up in certain positions but after seeing in the other review how to access the screws to tighten the joints I can say it is a good product for the money.

The first one I received would not stay up properly. Seller responded quickly to my review with instructions to mostly resolve the issue and sent me a replacement at no charge. Would buy from this seller again.Original review:The main arm of this light droops easily unless it is pointed straight up, but then the slightest vibration on your table will cause to drop down on to whatever you are working on. The light output and brightness settings are awesome, but the adjustable arm makes this light most useless as designed.

A nice, sleek looking, adjustable light for under $20. I mounted on my drawing table (26x40) and so far, it seems to be sufficient. The Kelvin color selection and the dimming are nice. There are two things that are not as nice. The lamp housing itself is a bit warped, so it does not sit parallel to the work surface. It droops downward a little. I'm not so OCD that it really bugs me, but it is noticeable. The other thing is, like other reviewers have noted, it does not want to stay in position when it is extended out away from the base. I've read other reviews that have been able to adjust the joints to make it stay. For now, it's good. Like I said, nice for the price.

Love this little lamp. It attaches well, it is light and very easy to attach to most tables. You can adjust it in different angles and fold it to close it. It provides different type of lighting that is bright white or amber.

The lamp is high quality and well built with good light quality. The lamp has very clever folding to keep it out of the way. It did not work with my computer desk. I had to clamp it to the keyboard level of the desk at I found it in the way. I would highly recommend the lamp.

The hinge is very loose and it causes the light to droop. I cannot fix it.I had to get a replacement. I'm still waiting on the replacement so I'm not sure if the new one will work on not.I'm changing my review because the seller reached out to me with instructions on how to fix the tension of the hinge. They also gave me a full refund because of the less-than-optimal experience. They did not have to do that. I would have been happy with the instructions on how to fix it. It shows they care about the quality of their product and about me as a customer. I'm changing my review to 5 stars because I really like this lamp.I wish more vendors were like this one.

Bought this for Black Friday, needed a lamp to light up my work area.EDIT: The seller has contacted me and offered to send a replacement, implying that the hinges can, in fact, hold up the weight of the lamp. I will edit my review once the new unit comes in.PROS:-Very bright: I think1400 lumens is more than enough for the vast majority of people. From its position near the middle, it can throw light that's bright enough to work under at both ends of my desk, 5 feet apart.-Versatile: one of the reasons I chose this lamp over others is because of the huge range of tunability. Stepless dimming AND transition between warm and cold light is a must if you like switching between ambient light and a color-accurate workspace.Additionally, all of the 3 sections/arms is twistable and rotatable, meaning there are very few positions this lamp can't be twisted into.-High CRI: This relates to the previous point; high CRI (90, in this case) creates a truer-to-life (sunlight) depiction of the colors the light is shining on.CONS:-Design flaws: Despite the body being made of metal (which is appreciated), there is a decent amount of flex to the thinner section/2nd arm of the lamp, and the clamping mechanism is just a metal plate, which can easily scratch whatever surface you're clamping onto, especially if you have a wooden desk.-TOO HEAVY TO STAND, WEAK HINGES!The lamp appears to be too heavy to hold up its own weight. When all 3 sections are fully extended and the lamp is leaning forward (to reach the middle of my desk), it simply falls over.The hinges that control the rotation of each section can't be tightened, and the 1st hinge (nearest the clamp) is usually the first to go-- though the problem extends to all of them.This is the point that made me rate 2 stars. For all its features, a lamp that cannot stand is effectively useless, in my opinion. Until the lamp's design and construction is updated to include hinge tighteners, I can't recommend this lamp yet.

I bought two of these LED light arms to have on each side of my bed. Although they look nice and have some nice features, they were cheap in their feel (being I was always afraid they'd break if I tried to adjust them despite that being an essential part of their design) and the hinges of the arms were constantly coming loose and needing to be retightened. It was a daily project to make it strong enough to hold its position and it only took a few hours for the light to begin drooping and falling down from the position that was desired. The lamps simply don't work as intended and are not reliable.
