I'm knocking a star of for colour: it's distinctively bluish, not white. Apart from this it's a good product to see how this whole glowing wire fun works for you. I bought this for photography and indeed it provides some fantastic effects but one needs to learn how to use it properly. As for build quality: in one word - flimsy. From what I understand all products in this price range are built like this so can't complain to much as I knew what I was getting. You can use the controller with 1 - 5 provided wires by plugging or unplugging the splitter. It does make an annoying sound but it's not very loud so I can live with it.

Not that bright, quite thin and wispy - thought the wire would be slightly thicker. Also, when the lights are shining, there is a quiet but high pitch buzzing noise coming from them. I say 'shining' rather than 'on' because the lights can be on but in different modes, and when they're flashing on and off or on permanently, the noise is only emitted when the light is shining

Great product. Works brilliantly, A +++ I shall be using this to illuminate a model ship I will be building of the Queen Mary 2. Due to its flexibility it should be really easy to do.

Drains battery in hour and half. Barely can see when its on. Waste of money.

Not startlingly bright, but looks promising for the neon sign effect theatre prop we're building... Wire connectors a bit loose out of the package.

Arrived quickly, there a Christmas gift so I'm very happy with how they looked and the lights are great when lit up, I'm definitely going to buy more.
