Now, I'll say I bought one and it came broken, but these are like, plaster - so I can't fault them too much on that regard, but obviously that's a heck of a damper when you're givin' it to a kid in like, 4-5 days and are worried if it'll show up in time.Contacted customer service, they got it out real quick and understood that the first was a broken mess! (It REALLY was, so bad that it looked like winter snow exploded out of the package.)New one was just fine, though if you get for your kid the slot hole is a bit small - I had to really help my nieces get any bills in and the hole/cavity inside is a bit small too. So if you're wanting a real functioning bank ontop of something to do craft wise, not so much. But my nieces loved painting it and loved that it was a mermaid tail - so I scored some aunt points on that regard.Definitely something fun to do during covid, it comes with shimmery style paints that match the theme well. I don't know if I believe that it covers the whole thing with how kids use paint, but they rarely cover anything they want to paint to begin with so I don't know if I could knock off stars.Overall, tl;dr: Was worth the money but it has a chance to come broke, if you don't mind contacting customer service and are looking for a fun craft to do and teach about saving money with kids, this is something good to do that can reflect their interests.

My 6 year old niece ended up loving this. It was great quality and a ton of fun. Gave mom a break for a little while!

Bought 10 for my daughter’s mermaid party. 10 1st graders painted them… 1 tipped on table and cracked immediately. 1 bank’s mermaid tail only had half the sequence. Girls had fun but painting the word mermazing was hard for them 🤣 other than that nice product.

My daughter had a great time painting her own piggy bank, good quality and cute!

It is so cute and such a fun project to work on! They just break SO EASY!!! I’ve replaced it twice in 1 month which is a little much

It’s unfortunate that the material quality is not great - just tipping over on a wood table was enough to break it.Of course I broke the first one, so it was adult caused. I bought a replacement for a crying child, and she knocked over the second one and broke it while painting it.That’s two purchased, and two broken before it was even used as a bank.
