I got this for my 7yr old twins to try out and they love it. There are 36 different experiments that can be done. The boys were very excited by it all as they do love Science. Their opinion of the kit is, and I quote,…“It is good fun,It is helping me learn new things.I like the goggles because I don’t want to hurt my eyes.We like doing the experiments together but sometimes my brother is a bit annoying because he isn’t doing it right.It is annoying that there is only one badge.The book is easy to read and helped me to the right thing.I really really like this.”So it definitely gets a thumbs up from them and another one from me as I love seeing them learning through play.

I bought this as a gift they stuck the lable on the box with the price details on it which is impossible to remove and there is no packaging so if left outside imthe box would be ruined, i expected much more.

It’s a good quality first science experiments, cons of a little booklet with a step-by-step guide on what to do it’s pretty much full proof. Would make a fabulous present as it’s within that price range for the amount you get it’s a bargain. My son absolutely loves this set

I am very pleased that the instruction booklet for this kit is written in clear, standard English. The instructions are well laid out and there is also a scientific explanation given for what student will observe. Also very good is the large size of the plastic test tubes. There are 36 experiments for children to complete under supervision. In addition to the kit, you will need to provide a few common household items and a few basic grocery items. These include things like a bowl, a plate, a wooden spoon, cooking oil and washing up liquid. Also there is nothing included in the kit on which children can record their procedures and findings.NOTE: There is one potentially controversial experiment, which asks for raw eggs to be used. This is a physics flotation experiment. Raw eggs are suggested because their density is only very slighter higher than that of water. Boiled eggs have the same density and should perform the same. For those who do not wish to use eggs, the same experiment can be carried out with denser items, such as a slice of carrot or potato, by using more salt.Overall, this is good value for money kit, for its enjoyment and educational value.

What a great kit this is and a bargain at £15.99 at the time of writing reduced from £20.99.It comes with the majority of things you need to complete science experiments with the children. It has various measuring spooks, cups, test tubes etc as well as all the PPE required to keep your child safe from splash's. It comes with an easy to follow instruction manual which is of great quality and explains everything so a child can understand it .This set is a great price for a gift and I'm sure if my two received this as a gift they would have been over the moon.
