Cal Hawk Tools CZCTQS65 Quick Splice Connector Assortment

I was disappointed in these connectors. First of all the case that they come in is incredibly flimsy. The lid has such a bow in it that the connectors rarely stay in their own compartments. Secondly, there were only 5 or 6 of the large yellow connectors but loads of the red connectors. I should've picked up on this more from the pictures so that's my fault. Lastly, also likely my fault, these types of connectors just aren't that reliable. I thought I would use them in a remote starter install but I just had consistent issues keeping a reliable connection and ended up soldering everything instead. So, they're OK connectors in less than desireable packaging.

I was a little disappointed at first that what I got was not was shown in the picture. The T-taps were left out and replaced with more red and blue quick connects. On a Friday, I emailed the seller, California Tools, about that, and on Monday, I received the T-taps! I've tried one of the splices to see how it works, and it worked great. Very happy.

Great product! Works as expected. Must have good hand strength to get a good fit when pinching closed on your wiring. If it doesn't work for you, check that it's pinched tight enough... or in my case, get someone else to go behind you with exceptional hand strength to close.

These are good for what they are but they're no substitute for soldering. For light duty jobs they'll work fine but the connections probably won't be 100%. I've learned this from experience. It's not a reflection of the quality of the product, it's just the nature on the type of connector.

These splices do the job, but they are fragile. Don't bend them too much when trying to splice.

Worked fine for me. Some of the connectors the holes the plastic was protruding. No big deal though

I've used them before I like them and that's why I ordered some more thank you very much they look good

Not high quality pieces, but at about a dime a piece, I'm satisfied!
