Quality, Durability, Performance!
This me trap is a terminator! Within an hour of two separate installations, two moles had been dispatched! I followed directions by tramping down all raised tunneling mounds, noticed fresh tunneling mounds, installed the trap in-line with the tunnel mound, and SNAP! No more moles.

Works well!
Gotta find a fresh dug surface tunnel line. Very hard to do if it's muddy or wet. Just wait till it's dry.Seems solid and I've got 2 moles so far.

Does not work don't buy.
It claims all you have to do is place the trap in line with most recent tunnel. bye the time you dig a hole big enough to place the trap in the moles disappear and don't come back. When they do come back it's in another place in the lawn. Don't bye waste of money

So far, moles 12, human zip.
Three stars. Product looks good and might work with different soil conditions than what I have. After about a dozen attempts I’ve given up. There are too many stones in the soil that prevent the trap from going deep enough. If the trigger plate isn’t touching the ground, it will not work. I’ll be looking for a different type.

It’s a trap!
This is a scissor type mole trap meaning it does not really trap moles but actually cuts them in half. It’s easy to use. You pick a place where the moles go, flatten a small portion of the dirt with your foot, and place this above the spot you flattened. Then, all you have to is press the whole cutting part into the dirt with your foot. Before you press it all the way it, go up and down a couple times so the cutting path is clear. Once you press it all the way, it will lock into a spring-loaded set position. If the moles go through this area again, the idea is that they come to the collapsed tunnel that you pressed down, and they try to re-dig it. When they do this, a plate on the trap is pushed up and the scissors kill the mole. Unfortunately, we have yet to catch a mole with this. The trap comes with some little warning flags you can stick in the ground around the trap, so you don’t mow over it. This is a nice upgrade compared to another scissor mole trap I already had. With that said, this trap has a low profile so you could accidentally mow over it without issue. We have to get lucky and have a mole go back through where we’ve placed it, and then we can tell you if it’s effective. This seems similar so far to other traps we have used of this style with success.

Works and easy to set
This trap is easy to set and works great in my sandy soil. The instructions are minimal and it's a little tricky to release the mole, but it's a pretty simple and effective mechanism that doesn't require a lot of skill to use. Caught 2 immediately so I bought more!
