I have tried every brand of healthy, expensive, good for my cat dry food. They always end up going back to some cheap brand because they turn away from the "good stuff" I was willing to try this Open Farm Catch of the season whitefish dry food. My boys prefer fish flavored cat food over chicken or other bird flavors. My boys ate this food the first day, of course I mixed it with their old food for the first couple weeks like always. They actually picked out the Open Farm pieces over the cheap brand which is not usually the case. I will be ordering this food for my cats until they decide they don't want it, if that should even happen. We are on our 3rd bag and they love it. They also seem to eat a little less, I'm thinking because of the good ingredients and good flavor. It definitely smells fishing when you open it which is great since I ordered a fish flavored food. :) My boys have healthy cat poo, very shiny fur and lots of energy. I've been hoping to find a better dry food for a long time now sure was hoping this was it. I have two baby's my Penelope will eat just about anything my male Lu will eat nothing but friskies so took a chance and unfortunately it's not working. That being said for me this checked all the boxes was impressed with the ingredients, quality, and better nutrition, the smell I thought would be iristable to them . The price is a little high but so is most of the better brands out there. The only thing I think could be improved would be the size of the kibble, it's a little small. I'm not regretting the purchase and my baby's are worthi put into wanting the best for them. As we all know cat's are soo picky.

So stinky, but cat can't get enough of it. Worth it, she's healthy & got a really nice coat. Fewer hairballs than with other food.

My cat isn't fond of dry food but he will eat this one. I've tried numerous cheaper and pricier foods but this is one he will eat...eventually. It smells bad to me but is ok to him. No idea how it tastes because I'm not a cat thus no way am I tasting this. Good ingredients.

I’ve tried basically every cat food brand out there from Blue to Purina to random smaller brands.My cats aren’t picky babies.This food though. I can’t sing it praises enough. I have one cat in particular that would eat till she puked if I let her. At her heaviest she was up to 23lbs and was ALWAYS starving on their old foods. She’d bully the other 2 cats out of their food constantly.I swapped to this one, same feeding schedule/amount and everything, and she’s now down to 14lbs and leaves food in the bowl when she’s done. She looks so much healthier, her coat doesn’t have dandruff anymore, and actually wants to play again!Obviously some cats are pickier than others but for mine this is a 10/10. They love it and they look so healthier and are so full of energy now.

Bought this to replace a different dry food I could no longer get. The first time we gave it to our three cats they went crazy. They absolutely loved it. It’s a good thing because it is nutritionally better quality than what I was giving them. First ingredient Salmon. Have now also bought their turkey chicken dry food. Highly recommend.

We have 5 cats and one of them ate a few bites and walked away. The others were totally not interested. Usually they love a fresh bag of food. I bought this because it was advertised as pasture-raised lamb, something I felt didn't have any GMO grains in it. I opened the bag and it smelled like the bay at low tide - very fishy. Fresh meat, no grains, and transparency, this I appreciate. But when the second and third ingredients are fish, THIS needs to be made more apparent. I admit, I didn't read the fine print - the ingredient list, but heck, I foolishly trusted that this was a quality food made of mostly lamb as the protein source, not a food with SOME lamb and a lot of fish fillers.Luckily the barn cats eat anything, but I won't buy this brand again. This is high grade food for cats. Excellent product. The moment you open the bag, it stinks of seafood and the kibble looks inviting. I can tell good quality when I see it. Also read the ingredients and all pass the safety and quality standards. I recommend it. My cats love it.

As our daughter's two ragdoll cats age, we want to be as proactive as possible in providing them with healthy, nutritional food. Open Farm Pasture-Raised Lam Grain-Free Dry Cat Food is ticking all the boxes so far. Our picky cats will eat the food (not always a given), and appear to be thriving on it. Their coats look good, their bathroom habits are consistent, and their weight is stable. We've been using this food for over 6 months, and so far, we're happy with it (although it is somewhat hard to find, locally).

Cali is a very picky eater. I wanted a good quality cat food. After doing research I found Open Farm. As soon as I opened the bag and put some in her bowl she went straight for it and ate just about all I put in it. But it was the excitement about the smell (Turkey &Chicken) that made her head for her bowl. I couldn’t believe it. I am so happy I finally found a good quality cat food that my girlie loves.

Cats are so finicky and my girl is just that. I tried many cat dry foods but she actually likes this one which has fresh chicken and turkey. It's only been 2 weeks since trying it out. I like this product because there's no corn, wheat or soy. I found this food in the dental section so I hope it does clean the tarter of her teeth (fingers crossed).

My cat is very sensitive to all dry food, we changed him to this as i had heard and researched for a better food for him. When it arrives i just filled his bowl and he ate right away, no reaction so far(2 weeks now) and he is more regular with litter and seems satisfied Will be buying again. It does have a strong meat taste but I believe that is good.
