Fixed my rod!
Had to shave down the cork a bit to get the fit right. I used some locktite to make sure it stays where I want it. All in I am happy with the repair. The grooves in the butt are a nice upgrade the rod didn't have before. it really locks in nice in a rod holder. Looks good too
