I use a lot of derby blades and this package of 300 razor blades and a shave the was great!

The straight razor is made of good material. Not cheap and flimsy. Even the clasp that holds the blade is made of great material.

Make sure to get the Derby Premium version, the straight razor that comes with the Derby Professional blades is next to nothing, terrible flimsy piece of nothing, the straight razor that comes with the Derby Premium blades is actually pretty good, hefty feel, good balance and is pure stainless steel, no coating so nothing to peel off or get ugly scratches with time.Only minor complaints because it couldn't be perfect: holding screws don't have nut heads but caps, so if this starts to feel loose you really can't tighten it up.Also, the hinges rust a bit even though after use I immediately remove the blade and I let it air dry in my room (also I leave in a fairly hot climate all year round so this could be worse for other people). I'll make sure to put a drop of hair oil in the future.

Light but strong. Holds blade very well. Their blades cut so smooth. Great tool. Buys another for stand by ans trashing my old big single edge tool.

Razor and blades good. Didn’t like the smell of the aftershave

For years I have fluctuated between a "hair shaping tool" straight razor, an actual real straight razor, and a safety razor. Keeping the real one sharp has always been a problem. I was happy with the hair shaping tool, until the little finger tab - which was plastic - broke off. So I decided to give this a try.First thing I noticed was it was heavy. Much heavier than the hair shaping tool. And the blade was a little tricky to install.Then when I started using it - the balance is going to take a little getting used to. But the blades are awfully sharp, and it gives a clean close shave. I am quite pleased with my purchase.

5 stars and came with extra blades! And a block. For after shave?

Not only did the product come used but it also came broken. It doesn't hold the blade even If you were to play around with it. As a professional barber if I can't get it to work a regular person can't make it work 100% Un usable and a full waste money as I can't even " make it work " either.

I cut myself right at the beginning with very sharp blades it requires training!

Very lightweight, and durable, blades are nice and sharp, really great product for a really great price. Not sure why this doesnt have higher reviews.

Got this as a Valentines Day present for my guy. He always wanted a straight razor. He absolutely loves it! Says it shaves perfectly! Great buy!
