I was looking for a black wrap around tailpiece to replace the chrome on on my black 2006 PRS SE Standard. This one also allowed for better intonation adjustment which wasn’t as easy in the original bridge. The only negative I’d say is the design does heighten your action quite a bit from the 7th fret up. Fortunately on this specific guitar I don’t usually go much higher than the 7th fret.

I was having intonation problems with my Epi LP Jr using the standard compensated wraparound bridge it came with. The low E at the third fret was reading a full half-step sharp (G#) and no amount of adjustment of the bridge would solve the problem. Bought this one and problem solved. It looks better than in the pictures and is a direct drop-in replacement for the old one. The studs even fit the existing insert sleeves, so I didn't have to mess with pulling the old ones. Like most (all) of the Chinese affordable replacement bridges of any kind, this one seems to sit just slightly higher than the originals. The guitar was still most definitely playable, but a quick and simple neck shim brought the strings down to a height that rivals the playability of my Jacksons and Charvels. I couldn't be happier! If you own any guitar with those standard compensated wraparound (ie non-adjustable saddle) bridges, I strongly suggest you buy one of these and spend the two minutes it takes to install. You'll be happy you did!!!

While it does function as described it raises the action height so impossibly high that intonating is impossible despite that being the whole purpose of the device, never mind that it makes actually playing literally a painful experience and the strings are so far off the pickups volume has to be cranked to pick up anything.
