I've bought several lights that are battery driven simply due to all the Blackout talk.These letters are bright & last a long time.NOEL also means Spiritual Birth, even before Jesus... so I take it personally.

First , the set is smaller than I expected so if you plan to use under a large tree or big space, think again. Each letter is seperate so if you want to turn them off at daytime, you would have to switch off each alphabet which is not convenient. Because of this, one would tend to leave the whole set on and in a few days, the lights are so dim because the batteries are run down. I had to change the batteries three times during christmas week to keep them bright. Only plus is that the construction is neat. The manufacturer needs to include a timer and a string to control all alphabets with one switch.

This decoration is well made, great accent for a fireplace mantel or anywhere in the home.

Noel is the flip of Leon, a very special person in my life. This gave it a double meaning for my Christmas! Loved the way it centered all other decor.
