The media could not be loaded. My order delivered on time and the packaging was good, the product was intact. I followed the instructions manual that came with the product about cleaning and care. I cleaned the product as mentioned in the manual using vinegar and water mixture and rinse several times post that. I used this for almost 2 weeks and post that I am writing this review. The product is worth every dollar I spend on this. It quickly heats up water and makes my life easier. The capacity of the kettle is good. It has an auto shut off function as well which is a must required for these kind of products. The product comes with one year warranty, which is great. The inside of the kettle is stainless steel which ensure no plastic contact with water and easy to clean as well. The kettle is very easy to use and handle. Even after max temperature reach the kettle still feels normal (room temperature / cool) and easy to pour also. Great addition to anyone's coffee bar. Best addition to my kitchen counter. Overall the quality of the product is very good and durable. Also it's way cheaper than other name brands. I highly recommend this Mecity Electric kettle.

The high quality of this electric kettle was a surprise, especially for the price paid. The interior is seamless stainless steel and as easy to clean as could be. There are interior markings for max level of 1.7 liters and min level of .5 liter. The lid mechanism has no play and is smooth and precise - just push the button on the handle with your thumb and the lid lifts up about 60 degrees and stays there until you push it closed with your hand. This is handy for filling with water from the tap. It took just under 7 minutes to boil the max 1.7 liters and just under 3 minutes to boil the minimum .5 liters (about 17 ounces). It pours without any dripping or dibbles. The exterior is shiny piano black and looks elegant. The blue led lever that turns it on is bright, and shuts off when boil is reached. I couldn't be more pleased with the appearance and functionally of this kettle. Recommended.

There are two important cautions associated with using this product: 1) even though the outside of the pot does not get too hot to the touch as some do, I frequently and very painfully burn my thumb when gripping the pot in an effort to pour the hot water into a cup -- this is because the seam on the lid leaks scalding hot steam and it is very convenient to grip the pot exactly on that seam. 2) if you take the pot off the heating pad to use it before the auto light goes off, when the pot is replaced on the pad, the light remains on and the pot goes back into heat mode -- our other pots all shut off when the pot is lifted from the pad.

This kettle looks nice and does the job. It boils water, no different temp settings. There's no plastic in contact with the hot water, but the plastic shell outside makes it easy to handle for my kids. It is not very quiet. It puts out a lot of steam when it heats. We had to move it to a different counter so repeated steam exposure doesn't damage our new cupboards. The volume lines are inside and can only be seen by opening the kettle. They are Min 0.5L, 1.0L, and Max 1.7L.

This kettle not only has a large capacity, it heats up fast, and piping hot; and looks beautiful on my counter. I love being able to enjoy hot beverages without having to wait for a range-based kettle to heat up. This has boiling water ready in minutes, and then shuts itself off, so I don't have to worry; and it also keeps the water warm for a good while. I love the blue light on the power switch, and I love that the lid opens wider for easy cleaning. I would definitely purchase it again.

We were looking to replace our old Kettle that wore out after 3ish years of daily use. It is really difficult to find an electric kettle without a see through plastic window or a plastic pour spout or some other unknown plastic dipping into the hot water, so we were excited to try this one. It heats quick and is large enough to boil a decent amount of water for reducing the time required to boil a main pot on the stove (try it, it takes a lot less the time even on large burners). The auto off, bright blue switch, and audible click are great features to let you know when the water is ready. I would buy again or recommend to a friend without hesitation.

I was really liking this kettle, but the other day the kettle didn't shutoff after heating the water. I realized it was still running after 10 minutes or so. After I manually shut it off, I grabbed the handle to lift it off the base and the handle was extremely hot. Luckily my daughter was not the one handling this! And the hot water was leaking out the bottom. I was instructed to contact the company and provided a link from Amazon to do so. It has been some time and I have not received a reply on how to have the kettle repaired or replaced as it is faulty.
