Olympic Mascots 20cm Plush Wenlock

good prompt delivery and good price. Xmas stocking filler so have the pair of olympic mascots as already haave manville but this price was better!

Up until some point in the last year, my son had three 20cm London 2012 plushes - Wenlock, Mandeville and Pride. I had bought them for him when he was just five years old, back in Summer 2012 on the Sunday before the opening ceremony took place, as a memento of our wonderful day out together in London taking pictures of and with as many of the large Wenlock and Mandeville statues as we could find. It was a lovely warm day and I remember I was starting to worry near the end of the day that he'd been walking too much as we'd spent a good 8 hours walking and he refused to let me carry his backpack, or his camera, for him. It truly was a wonderful day.This past weekend, we were busy de-cluttering. As part of that, we went through all the kids' teddies and after searching high and low, we realised Wenlock was missing. Seeing as he served up such great memories, I couldn't let this slide, so off to Amazon I went to see if these toys could still be bought, and lo and behold, they can! And for much less than I remember paying in the run-up to the Olympics. Needless to say, I couldn't not order it and thanks to Prime, it arrived the very next day, just as cute and well-made as I remember him being, albeit a lot cleaner! The set is once again complete and my son and I are very happy.

I got both mascots for my son aged 5 as he loves them, he takes them to bed with him every night, he is very happy and i am very happy :)

I was initially pleased with this soft toy and our children seemed to love it, but as time went on I became worried about whether it was genuine. I wrote to LOCOG and the Met but neither has got back to me yet. In the meantime I live in fear of my door being battered down by a police assault team enforcing Olympic logo protections. Could the toys perhaps come with a signed letter from the Queen or something so we wouldn't have these worries?

Great way to remember the Olympics. Bought the set of 3 mascots as a mommento.Would say they more a collectors item rather than a toy. Product just as described,quick delivery.
