I like my new kettle but I found out quickly that you cannot fill the kettle to where it recommended "full".It boiled over my counter.

Loud from the beginning, which is strange before even the water get warm , as soon as you switch on the bottom it become loud....

I like this kettle because it really does do a good job of quickly and safely boiling water without affecting the taste at all; but I got it specifically because it was supposed to consume only 800 watts of power which would allow me to use it with my small off-grid solar powered electrical system while traveling. My inverter is rated at 860 watts max, but unfortunately this device actually uses almost 900 watts to run; so I will not be able to use it that way.Please see the attached photos of the product bottom label and a page from the user manual. Both clearly state that the kettle is supposed to use 800 watts of power. So far I have used it 7 times, and each time it consumed between 870 and 890 watts. I will not be able to use this with my inverter, so for traveling I will be purchasing another kettle which is supposed to use 600 watts: the  Liberty Premium Portable Silicone Folding Travel Electric Kettle .

I got this for my office and I think as just a VERY SIMPLE kettle it works fine. It doesn't have any temperature settings so if you don't want it to fully boil you'll have to switch it off early yourself. It boils fast and gets pretty hot, especially the metal sides. The cord is also not very long, maybe 1 foot, so I have to use an extension cord.I've had it for about 10 months and it works fine, and the color is very trendy. It's a cheap and easy way to brighten up the day of the people around you by offering tea! If I want to make a specialty drink I would rather use my other kettle with temperature controls.

Just received this as my old kettle had burned out and decided to order this one. The design is beautiful and looks great on the counter. Totally filled up it took about six minutes to boil. The only thing to watch out for is not to tilt too much when you pour or water comes out of the lid too and spills. Not really a problem after the first use As I know how much to tilt it. This is the only reason I have not given it five stars. This does not have a lot of features but I don’t need them in a kettle as I just use it to boil water for tea and my French press.

I ordered this kettle after purchasing the 0.8L model for my office. I love both! I got the slightly larger one for home for drinking tea/coffee and hot water as well as for when I have friends over. This one replaced one with higher wattage and the reason this was important to me is because I don't want my toaster and tea kettle blowing out a fuze when I am just trying to have breakfast. This kettle is still very fast to heat water, so I don't miss my previous kettle with higher wattage, even though that one was faster to heat. It has a slim and aesthetically pleasing profile so it fits in my small kitchen. My favorite feature about this kettle is that it has a single piece seamless stainless steel interior so nothing on the inside is touching plastic. This is the only kettle that I found that was built this way after looking for hours. Hence why I own both models. I highly recommend this because it is very easy to use, safe to pour, all stainless steel inside, and opens all the way for easy cleaning.

Lid could open a bit wider. Hard to fill.

I absolutely love it!!! Very elegant color and it matches my cabinet!!! This kettle keep water hot for certain hour. Best one I had ever bought.m
