Good natural soap
We've been using this soap for a while now and like it. We dilute it about 50/50 and put it around our house in hand soap bottles. The unscented feels good on your hands and isn't over-drying. It seems to clean well. I would recommend this soap since it's one of the more affordable castile soaps on the market. $50+ for a gallon of soap is unreal (looking at you Dr. Bronners).

Exactly the same as Dr bronner's
Look, I'm not a chemist so I can't say with 100% certainty that these are exactly the same products (Dr bronner's) I can however say that I have purchased both products in the 1 gallon containers and here's my assessment. The peppermint Dr bronner's smells fantastic and even has a bit of a lingering smell when you're out of the shower. It's very strong and actually tingles a little bit which some people may like. It's been my experience that most people looking to buy castle soap are looking for absolutely plain vanilla soap that won't dry out their skin.In my opinion, that is a huge difference between these two. They are almost exactly the same price... Dr bronner's is a little bit more but it definitely dries out your skin. At least the peppermint one does. I've purchased their multi pack with the various different sents and they all pretty much do the same thing. This stuff is pretty amazing. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin, this soap is made for people like you. It does not dry out your skin and it smells like absolutely nothing. What I like about it is it foams up like no other soap I've ever purchased. A very small amount gets you a tremendous amount of lather. The best part, there's absolutely nothing... I mean no smell, no drying, no anything. This stuff is not dyed or scented in any way. It is just pure castle soap. I would suggest giving it a shot and also trying Dr bronner's. You may have more success with the original but not me. Good luck

wonderful castile soap I just tried
I just opened it and tried it yesterday and love it more than any other liquid organic castile soap i have used. First I was taken aback as it is very thin and worried I would go thru it too quickly but not the case. I dont think. you have to be careful pouring it as it comes out so quickly but it does not take much at all to have great lather, and it has no scent which is wonderful for those of us who are sensitive. I have tried them all and many unscented ones still have too much scent. this soap is Perfect. it makes great lather, unscented, leaves skin nice and I just love it more than the other brands I have tried including Bronners for sure. I will be buying this over and over again/. so happy I found it. five stars for this great soap and good value too. just be careful pouring it as it comes out quickly it is thin but it is wonderful.

So amazing and helpful!
Since purchasing this Castile soap in the one-gallon size with the lavender scent just a few weeks ago I have already switched over to making my own hand soap, dish liquid, HE Laundry Soap (note if making HE laundry soap BE CAREFUL to DILUTE the Castile with water so IT IS SAFE AND NON/LOW-SUDSING FOR HE WASHING MACHINES. In my recipe (which has more ingredients than just Castile Soap) I use ONLY 1 ounce of Castile Soap per gallon of water,) one ounce of Castile Soap to on, and Dishwasher Detergent. My Dishwasher detergent recipe was the toughest to figure out. It took me several tries with different ingredients before I got it perfect and to the performance level of Cascade Complete or higher. Instead of using a store bought optical brightener in my washing machine I instead added a teaspoon of Hydrogen Peroxide to my homemade laundry detergent. I store my laundry peroxide in a plastic dark colored toothpaste squeeze bottle as it pours easier into a measure teaspoon than it does out of the drug store bottle. I am also using plain vinegar and citric acid as my dishwasher rinse aid. I store my large, 4-gallon batch of soap in a 4-gallon bucket and refill old plastic laundry detergent for ease of pouring. I use old hand and dish soap bottles with old-fashioned labels instead of having to purchase others for this purpose. I am very thankful to have this soap with the wonderful, mostly organic ingredients. I have tried other Castile soaps but was disappointed. This one gives such an emollient texture and has citric acid also as a component. I like the aloe and olive oil and Rosemary as they are anti-aging and preserve the skin’s youthfulness. In my opinion, this is the best Castile soap and I will purchase more when I run out. So why did I only give it four stars? Because the width of the aperture of the bottle is wider than I need. Instead of ripping off the manufacturer’s seal I poked a small hole in it closest to where I pour out my soap and this solved the problem easily.-Julie SandsUPDATE 8/24/18I had to switch back to using Finish Jet Dry as my dishwasher rinse aid as the performance of my home made one (that did not use Castile soap,) was sporadic. I found out using plain household bleach along with the Castile soap in the dishwasher was a good idea. I have been so inspired by the high quality levels of the ingredients in the La Almona Castile Soap that I came up with a new invention. It is a type of soap dispenser that spritzes with a trigger the Castile soap/water blend. This 1-1 ratio of the La Almona castile and water I use as a hand soap and a dish soap for my spouse’s and my hand washable dishes. So I came up with the invention of a decorative trigger dispenser for this that sits on the sink. Less castile soap/water solution is used to wash the dishes, and an individual dish is given one small squirt, as are the hands when washing them. Just the right amount is dispensed, and I find I am using less water to wash my hand washable dishes. The soap leaves me hands supple and soft and my spouse’s also. He has commented on how much he likes my new invention and of using this soap on his hands and the feeling it leaves that he has put lotion on his hands, even though he has not, the soap is that wonderful. Our dishes feel silky smooth also.UPDATE 11/30/18I found out that this brand soap is also a great jewelry cleaner and if a brush is used it works as well as commercial brush stick style jewelry cleaners. I decided to do this for environmental reasons as I reuse an old brush stick of mine and know that the brush stick containers are very well made and was worried my local recycling center might not know what to do with them or just so busy. So I realized I can use castile soap to clean my jewelry and just re-use my old jewelry brush stick. I might even paint a painting with my other two empty jewelry brush sticks that have been sitting in my bathroom for years, using them as a paint brush.12/27/18 AMAZING INVENTION UPDATE:La Almona castile soap has so inspired me with its many organic ingredients I have just invented a wonderful spray on grooming solution for the nether regions after showering, a silken mousse, using La Almona Castile Soap. It is non-irritating and for those that are particular like myself and must have the body looking gorgeous, most of us epilate, just leaving a small amount of hair there. Since it is such a small amount sometimes after showering, the nether (pubic) hair looked too straight and had lost its fluffy look. My new spray brings that back and keeps that hair soft as down. It can also be sprayed on the bare skin underneath the front part of the nether for those of us that keep that perfect, and can be sprayed on the behind area as a conditioner after routine epilation to maintain the perfection there. I just spray coif briefly with my fingers and I look even more gorgeous. For men that keep their chest hair coiffed, it will also work for this and even those with light beards, etc. I recommend epilation for hair removal and also laser hair removal. Epilation is actually not painful and since the hair is pulled out with the root it is around three months before regrowth. I DO NOT recommend waxing as that is very painful, especially in the nether area.-Julie Sands
