I needed a high chair cover for a wooden high chair I had. This pad worked perfectly. The bonus is that I can take it with us when we go out and have a portable high chair.

We bought this for a trip with our 7 month old, and so far it's been awesome!1. It does fit on most chairs. Do note that since the Grey flap goes over the back of the chair, you are restricted to backs which are about 18-20 inches high. Our dining chairs are higher, but we were able to fix it through a slat in the back and it worked.2. By the same logic, since the fixing mechanism relies on the chair's back, you will necessarily need a sufficiently high back to fix this Seater. I haven't tried it in a low back chair so not sure what the threshold would be.3. The buckles are all adjustable which is awesome since every baby is different. The waist as well as the shoulders can be tightened, and the height of the shoulder straps can be adjusted.4. For everyday use, we've attached it to a hand me down high chair to make it into a five point harness and it works beautifully.5. It is machine washable and fits in pretty well.6. Material and stitching are high quality and are holding up well to use and abuse by baby7. It seems to hold baby pretty well, though I do find baby leaning to a side pretty often. It could be because I haven't tightened the straps enough, but I would not be comfortable leaving baby in this in a chair without arms without me standing right there watching. In the high chair with side arms, it is secure enough that even if the baby does lean, there is no where to go and I can carry on with my work next to the chair without being hyper vigilant.8. It is a breeze to put on and take off, though you can't do it holding the baby since you need to thread the buckles (which is a great added security feature).Overall its been value for money for us, and is recommended.

My 18 lb 5 month old was getting too heavy to carry around in her carseat carrier but wasn't quite sturdy enough to sit up in a high chair, and momma was getting tired of holding her and trying to eat in restaurants at the same time. Babysitter High Chair to the rescue! It just straps on to a regular chair and has a five point harness so she wasn't falling over and hitting her head on tables and things. Success! I get compliments on it all the time and people want to know where I got it. (Amazon! No... that's not a store in Austin. It's online...? Were you born in 1903?) Washable. Rolls up into my diaper bag easily - though a little bulky to keep it there permanently, but I just grab it from the car when I need it. Cute colors. I can attach my baby's toys to the straps. I can see us using this a TON when we go on vacation or anywhere there isn't a high chair readily available. Really does fit on any chair! But don't try it in a restaurant high chair because that was a big fail. The back of the chair has to be pretty high for this to work. Love it!
