I love it

I bought this along with an AT-2040 one of their newer XLR boom mics and the arm isn't weighted enough as over the course of 5 to 10 minutes the arm will slowly fall down out of the range it needs to be.

It does it’s job, but it’s pretty flimsy and it isn’t as nice as the more expensive ones for adjusting it on the fly. You have to keep the allen wrench/hex key to adjust the tightness of each joint. Might upgrade to a more expensive one later down the line.

Does the job, easy to use and adjustability is good.

While I appreciate the aesthetic quality the mic arm doesn't achieve its most basic functions. You need an allen wrench for every adjustment. Not just initial calibration, but any time you want to move the mic at all you need to loosen the bolt, move the mic, and while holding the mic in place, tighten it back down again. The first time I tried to adjust it the arm collapsed, painfully pinching my thumb and nearly breaking my mic. Even when fully tightened the mic arm has a surprising amount of spring wobbling around any time I bump my desk. The wire clips are a great idea, but they pop out, failing to hold the wire in place.

not sturdy, very flimsy. Broke at the base. to late to return it so i guess im just out of luck. Pay the extra and get something that youll be happy with.

Don’t be fooled by the image of this thing- it can’t hold up a SM7B to save its life. The arm attaches into the base by a magnet, so no hanging this thing from the ceiling, either. Adjustments are very limited and the material is dirt cheap. I would’ve been more productive just taking my money and throwing it into a fire. Waste of a purchase- just get something quality and spend the extra dime.

It can easily go over my monitor and it can support my heavy mic. Its solid and it is also easy to set up.I like it!

よくあるバネタイプではないので、とにかく見た目がシンプルでスマートです。マイクケーブルも二本のアームの内側に沿わせて目立たなくできて、すっきりした見た目にできます。関節部は付属六角レンチでのネジ固定の為、頻繁に位置を調整するという使い方には向きませんが、クランプとアームの接合部は一応回す事はできるので、アームの角度を決めたら使う時だけ回して目の前に持ってくる、という使い方なら行けそうです。総合的な作りの品質感は悪くはないですが、少し割高に感じなくもないかなあと。

Good and durable quality, can hold my Yeti well, the stand clamp save much space as my table is not so big, good job.

The media could not be loaded.  アームの先端、マイクマウント部のネジは、カメラの三脚でも使用される UNC 3/8-16 仕様です。マイクホルダー（別売り）側の雌ネジが UNC 3/8-16 ならば直にセットできますが、多くのマイクホルダーが UNC 5/8-27 なので、変換ネジの付属は気が利いていると思います。（所有している変換ネジが UNC 1/4-20 ⇒ 5/8-27 しかなかったので助かりました）アームとクランプの接合部は『ダボ』と『ダボ穴』の単純な構造で差し込むだけですが、簡単に角度（方向）が変わらないように円形の凸凹が噛み合うようになっています。それでも動きやすいのですが、収録中に動かすモノでもないので不都合は無いと思います。各関節部の堅さ（締め具合）がやや弱い気もしますが、付属の六角レンチで調整可能です。アーム自体がケーブルガイドとなりますが、細いケーブルではスリットをすり抜けてしまうので、その場合は付属のクリップでケーブルを固定できます。アームの長さも自分には都合が良く、使い勝手の良いマイクスタンドです。

At root this is a pretty simple adjustable boom arm for microphones, nothing much to differentiate it from other similar units. However, the provided extras made this VERY useful for my purpose and alleviated an annoyance that had been nagging at me for a while.My desk space is limited and used for a few different activities so I like to keep things modular: my drawing tablet is on a VESA mount arm so it can be pushed up and away from the desk, my laptop sits on a stand that rises or lowers depending on where my main monitor is etc.. so I needed a mic solution that let me stow the apparatus when it wasn't in use.Because this arm came with a riser column and a gentle 'clamp' style holder for a mic I was able to free up real-estate and also use my ZOOM H1N field recorder as a USB input for streaming voice (see photo). I can position it however I like, close to the tablet, away near the laptop or completely out of sight and mind. Provided clips allowed a 3 meter micro USB cable to easily run a line down and connect to a hub near the base.The versatility of this boom are what really made me happy! If you require a different mic hookup make sure to investigate exactly what threaded adaptors you need before buying I was unable to find what I needed easily to mount my H1N to the threaded post and just went with the provided clamp which seems to hold it securely but gentle enough no press buttons while engaged.
