Vacu Vin Rapid Ice Lager / Beer Cooler,Multi-colour,M

Great product. My son gave me one of these some time back. Still working, so very durable. Have bought 2 more myself. Just leave in the freezer until needed and soon cools your drinks down. It says for standard size bottles but works for std size cans also (I have a different one for bottles of wine).

We’ve had a couple of these for several years and they work brilliantly. We keep them frozen ready for use and they will chill a room-temperature beer can or bottle in about 5 mins and then keep it cold while you drink it. The two we have are now at least 5 years old and have been used a lot! They have however just started to split, exposing an outer layer of foam rubber behind the foil skin. The gel packs on the inside are still fine but it was time to look for replacements and I was so pleased to find them here at a reasonable price I ordered four. As a bonus, I also found these were ideal to use as an ice-pack when I broke my wrist last year - with a sock over my hand first for padding.

In terms of keeping drinks cold, I found these gel filled freezable sleeves are much more effective than either neoprene sleeves or vacuum can holders. As they are colder than your beer, you actually find the beer gets colder over time, whereas the other types just slow the heating up process. These freezable sleeves do warm up eventually, so if you're having more than one drink you will probably want to have spare sleeves chilling in the freezer.

This is designed to cool the beer quickly and then be taken off and put back in the freezer - it's not one of those ''beer cosies''. It can cool a room temperature 440ml can or bottle in a few minutes. I bought two because it's only effective for one beer before the insides melt and need to be re-frozen. I haven't found any other product that does a job as good as this one. I don't have the heart to dock a star for the tacky design, but it does make me think Vacu Vin consider their beer consumers to be a bunch of Homer Simpsons.

OK, simple idea, wraps snuggly round a can and cools or keeps it cool. Downside is it wears out of coolification too rapidly. But to it's credit, it does do it's job for a while, an hour or so, and in this present heat, thats worth the half star I guess.

Do you enjoy warm beer? How about warm beer in a weird plastic sleeve that barely changes the temperature of your drink no matter how long/cold you freeze it? Then you'll love this product! Guaranteed to do... well, very little. My beer went from luke-warm to tepid, I'd say. Certainly not 'ahh, a nice cool beer' cold... but probably a little colder than it was after 20 minutes in a fridge. Of course, instead of putting this thing in the freezer for a day first, I could have just put the beer in the freezer for 20 minutes. However, if you have an uneven table where cans or bottles might otherwise fall off... this could have some use. Or if you have bucket hands and a regular can is just too thin for you. Or you just love the feel of plastic...

I was extremely surprised how well this works. I thought it would just keep my beer colder for little while longer, but it actually made it much colder

These work well and are slightly larger than the previous one i had. They fit both cans and bottles well and chill them within 5 to 15 minutes depending how cold you want your drink.

I have a similar freezer slide-on for wine bottles, and this works just as well. This is really fast chilling beverages in 300 to 500 ml aluminum cans, although some cans are a tight fit.

Bought this for my Monster energy drinks on the way to work, not beer, but it's printed like a beer mug so I look completely unhinged at 7am driving to the office. Does exactly what it says: keeps my drink noticeably colder than going bare. Build quality seems solid so far, though I haven't had it long enough to judge durability. Functional, funny, and weirdly perfect for caffeine addicts who want to give their boss heart palpitations.
