ColorChecker Grayscale (Mac/PC)

Long story short - I wanted a smallish white balance calibrator to take with me in my camera bag at all times. I tried a cheaper set of wallet sized swatches from another company but found them to be ultimately not very useful as when manually calibrating my white balance with them I ended up with pretty obviously unrepresentative images.I then went back to the drawing board and did some more research and realised that basically you get what you pay for and some companies have a better reputation than others.Having bought the above product, I'm getting way better white balances (as in more representative of the actual scene). The texture and finish mean that there is less shimmer and basically no obvious reflection of the light source to affect the colour of the card in a way that messes up the reading, so the camera is able to be far more accurate in setting the white balance manually.

Great for setting accurate white balance on a camera with a custom white balance function but expensive for what it is. Can also be used in your first photo shoot to correct white balance later in post if you shoot raw and not jpeg.Would like to add a smaller version for portability and in the field use.

clearly good quality BUT this ad says "4x7 inches". The actual grey card sie is 13.7cm x 8.8cm or more like 5.8 x 3.4 inches. Even the outside size is 6x4 inches. Someone measured the outside of the card puch - which is 7". So beware if you need a target of a certain size.

Absolutely perfect for the job.

Great product but very expensive

Pricey product but essential if you want to calibrate your Sekonic Light Meter to your camera.

Everything else I've used around or under this price has been way off. This is perfect in most situations, sometimes it is slightly off but not so much that it's not super easy to fix in post without losing any quality

We use it for white balancing for talking head segments and it's a breeze to use. Only thing I'd really like is for it to have a slightly bigger bezel around the sides so your fingers don't touch the gray background.

Trovo il prodotto davvero utile, sia sul campo che per l'uso in post-produzione. E' possibile usarlo sia come grigio 18% per il calcolo dell'esposizione che per effettuare il bilanciamento del bianco, l'unica perplessità riguarda il materiale di costruzione che mi sembra troppo delicato per un uso intensivo sul campo

This has a boarder to keep the sheet form being bent or ruined during storage. Quality build over just a standard card.

Ottimo cartoncino e d'obbligo per un professionista del campo, tascabile però un po' troppo delicato da portare con se. Comunque consiglio vivamente, soprattutto per esposimetro esterno.

non avevo capito le dimensioni .. poco utile se meno di un a4...
