I don't normally say this (or even leave reviews for that matter), but I'll consider this product an exception. Seems a bit silly right? That I'd leave a review for such a small item. Well let me tell you, it won't seem silly once you buy this and use it for the first time.I've had glue guns in the past, and they were so so. How different can each brand be?... VERY. When I say this glue gun made my DIY craft (Santa costume) easy, I mean it basically built itself. No clogs, temperature just right, no dripping or oozing, fast heat application, perfect stick feeding, etc. etc. I'm not quite sure what engineering went into this, but whoever made it needs a raise. Normally I get numerous burns, or drip glue everywhere on a project. No more.The Greeks could have built the Trojan horse in 30 minutes with this thing, and the aliens who built the pyramids probably took this exact gun back in time with them. Quit reading reviews and just buy this miracle of an invention.

I just got MakersLife’s new (improved) glue gun. It made a positive impression right from the start with its compact and eco friendly packaging that was easy to open (no cutting through those annoying plastic clamshells!) and will store nicely in its box when not in use.The MakersLife glue gun comes with tools and lots of glue so you can begin your projects right away.This product has been improved and is impressive. It is compact, and the build quality is very solid.In particular I appreciate the dual temp design, as it lets me work on a variety of projects and materials, from delicate items to those that are more rugged.The tools are a nice bonus, too! Somehow I missed them in the description and was really pleased to receive them. They’re really helpful placing glue, holding things in place, keeping hot glue off of your fingers, etc.Overall this is a winner!

I’m glad I decided to buy this glue gun. It looks like last year they might have had some quality issues but they have definitely fixed any issues because this gun worked perfectly for me.I love the size, I love the power, I love the high and low temperature, and those silicone crafting tools came in very handy. Having the mini spatula and finger cap are definitely a nice addition to this product and really made the glue gun so easy to use.Bottom line is that this is a great glue gun for about $16. I am thinking that this would be a great stocking stuffer for my friends - who wouldn't love it!

El artículo es más grande, de otros que conozco, si caliente mucho y de eso depende la resistencia de lo que vayas a pegar, gotea es lógico que gotee por que cuando derrite pues es inevitable, pero después de un tiempo sin uso deja el goteo, hubiera sido perfecto que tuviera un botón para apagar en el momento sin tener que desconectar, oh que fuera automático, alejar de usar que se apagara... pero si esta bien, lo recomiendo!!!

This is, by far, the best glue gun ever. The two temperature settings are awesome -- they give you the perfect amount of control. The gun fits nicely in hand, and with the two accessories, I can direct the glue exactly where I need it without burning my fingers. Warms up quickly, and the glue holds immediately. I would definitely recommend it as a must-buy for everyone.

I saw that Makers Life had improved their product, so I took a chance and ordered it. I love it. It worked GREAT. This is a 5-star product so ignore the year-old negative reviews. Our holiday projects came out great. I love the crafting tools.

I was desperate for an inexpensive, dual-temp glue gun that I needed in a hurry for a headband-making station at my daughter’s baby shower. I already had my own, old, tried and true, high-temp glue gun, but didn’t want the 45 guests to have to stand in line to use only one glue gun. I didn’t think the majority of the reviews on this one were too bad; so, I took a chance. Mistake.The glue sticks were rubbery-flimsy and the first one wouldn’t flow through the glue gun AT ALL. It just sat in the chamber, unmovable, and melted in the glue gun… spreading melted glue from everywhere that it shouldn’t… jamming the glue gun. It truly was ridiculous. As you can see from the photos, it was horrible and guests only used my old glue gun since the new one wouldn’t work properly. Embarrassing. Guess what? They stood in line, waiting anyway.The only positive thing that I have to say about this purchase is that it comes with two silicone tools that I think will be very useful in the future with my old glue gun. One of the tools fits on your fingertip like a thimble and helps to press and hold your project in place while the hot glue cools. The silicone thimble also has a point on the end to swipe excess glue away. I didn’t have those tools out at the shower, but tried them when I returned home. That little silicone tool was great and helped to avoid burns while using my old, high-temp glue gun. There’s another silicone tool included that is shaped like a pencil with a shovel-type tip on one end. I used the pencil end with the point to clear the mini glue sticks out of the shaft of the broken glue gun. This tool was also useful to swipe away excess glue, etc.Bottom line: Don’t buy this glue gun. If you’re really set on wasting the $15.99, just go ahead and get a $20 bill out of your wallet, throw it in the trash, and save yourself the time and disappointment of having to deal with this garbage.My husband agreed that it wasn’t worth the time and effort to send this glue gun back. I’m considering my $15.99 “well spent” (a stretch, I know) on the two silicone tools (most likely valued at $1.50) that came with it so that I don’t feel so bad for wasting my money.

Glue leaks or gunks up if left sitting too long while you’re working on your project. Was able to clear it out and get started again.
